Burning feeling in feet
Just a quick question, do any of you suffer from 'burning' feet? Mine used to be dreadful, I'd have to sleep with my feet outside the bedcovers even on the coldest night. I realised after I'd been diagnosed and on Levo for a while that they weren't so bad so assumed the problem was hypo related. Unfortunately

Abingdon Parkrun! (Streak of 2)
So the second of 2 parkruns since re-graduating C25K. (I'd done one 2 years ago and promptly put my back out - aaaugh!) Then I re-started C25K again this year, grossly overweight. Have lost just under 3 stone since March. My times not as good as last time, so still have the PB from that first parkrun

discovery suggests that it may not be glucose that drives chronic inflammation within type 2 diabetes.

Different symptoms for same value of HbA1c ?
Hello all. This is my first post on the diabetes forum. I am 64. In 5 months I have gone from an HbA1c value of 41 to 53. I'm awaiting treatment and am taking no medication yet. My symptoms seem much more severe than I read others mention. For a given value, such as 53, is there quite a wide range

Control Issues
Hey y’all. I am new to the forum but not to diabetes. I am 54 years old and have had diabetes since I was eight years old. So of course I am insulin dependent and always will be. I have had issues with my blood pressure on and off. It’s pretty good. But I have CKD stage III and they want it tighter

CBD oil as a steroid sparer
Is this great news or what?! http://sterobiotechs.com/stero-cbd-solution/ "Our preliminary results in a phase II trial in GVHD show that CBD administration enhanced the therapeutic effect of steroids or reduced the steroid dosage while maintaining or improving the steroid’s original therapeutic effect

So, for the past 10 days I have been on vacation, this is why I haven't been here. During that 10 day period I lost only 1 pound of weight, which is fine with me. I'm seeing it slow down now as my body gets used to my routine of intermittent fasting and eating. To be fair though the past week I had my

Bye Bye Sugar
Great news. I was pre diabetic at 43 on the glycemic sugar scale back in February. Had a blood test a month ago. Results are back. The count is now 36 and I am back to normal.
