Hi Peppy. I am now post transplant (Aug Bank Hol 2018) but pre transplant I had NASH, HCC and diabetes type 2. Before transplant I kept to a healthy diet. Very low in fat and Stevia rather than sugar. 6 small meals a day because a poorly liver can only store energy for a couple of hours . I also drank lots of water to keep my system flushed of toxins. I had diabetes type 2 for over 20 years and because of healthy eating and weight loss I am now in remission for diabetes. A low fat, low or no sugar healthy diet is good for both cirrhosis and diabetes type 2. Stick with the diet and it will pay dividends. Best wishes. Alf
