Hi everyone,

I use pumpkin seeds sesame seeds and linseeds in baking and have found that ground pumpkin seeds make a great gluten free flour replacement.

Pumpkin seeds are packed with nutrition one very important one being magnesium as over half the population is believed to be magnesium deficient in some countries. And they can help to lower blood sugar levels.

I grind the pumpkin seeds up in a coffer grinder and you can just sprinkle it on a soup. I also really like roasted pumpkin seeds and snack on them.

Pumpkin seeds were once used as an anthelmintic in traditional medicine by indigenous people of North America to expel tapeworms and other intestinal parasites.This led to the seeds being listed in the United States Pharmacopoeia as an antiparasitic from 1863 until 1936.
