Does NDT affect blood sugar level?
I bought a blood glucose monitor a few weeks ago and have been checking my blood sugar level throughout the day. I take my meds at night (175mcg T4 & 0.75 Grains Erfa) and first thing in the morning my blood sugar is 3.6 - 3.8mmol/l. I also tried taking my Levo at night and NDT first thing in morning

Very confused !
I have recently restarted the lchf diet and have been doing a lot of research during the course of which I came across a site called Healthline . In the article I was reading they were discussing why some people donโt lose weight using low - carb diets . Two of the reasons were โ eating too many calories

Just over a week ago I started having watery diarrhoea. Have now spoken to my GP and taken a stool sample for analysis but thankfully it is now clearing up. Don't know whether its connected but the skin on my face is burning, very itchy especially when in bed or warm. Its on my face down my neck,

Chronic constipation
Please help with some advice. My husband is having so much trouble with constipation. He has tried increasing fiber and liquids, stool softeners, Miralax, Metamucil, magnesium citrate, Senna, Linzess, etc. etc. The only thing that gets him actually going is Dulcolax. He has been to the emergency

VitaminD levels & magnesium
I was just wondering if many of you have checked your Vit D levels. I assumed that taking Vitcal D for the last 6 years my levels would be good. When Iโve had bloods done they have never included Vit D. So I sent off to Medicheck and was surprised when the results came back at the low end at 60.7. So

Hello all, hope everyone is staying safe. Recently my fasting sugar levels and post meal have been going up for no reason I can attribute to. Quick background: I'm 55, male, was diagnosed with Type 2 in 2011 in Singapore (been here since 94). I was given Metformin 500mg and Dimicron XR60 at that time

W6R1 Weird Smell
Just got back from my W6R2 of C25K and had a weird smell in my nostrils. Googled it and itโs amonia which means Iโm burning protein! Iโm on a low carb diet. Any ideas of what I should eat before a run to avoid this? The run was fab though ๐๐ป

While not LCHF, it's health related. I think most of us on the board have more interest in health than the average bear! My wife and I decided to give this a try, but it'll be a couple weeks for results. I was just interested to see if anyone one the group and tried it. The kit promises to provide
