I have both restrictive and obstructive lung disease and am on CPAP therapy. I look fine and at the moment can walk (slowly) for miles on the flat however struggle on the

Does anyone have this combo, and if so can you share what worked for you as well as the what the link between them might be? Can anyone relate.
I have severe OSA i use a CPAP, the disruptive nights I have make the Fibro unbearable. This has ended my career as a carpenter and what feels like my life. Due to severely restricted activities, because of the pain, I have gained weight. This makes my OSA worse and in turn my aches and pains are increasing

Hello has anyone got this and ground glass opacity from a CT in my lungs. I'm wondering if a cpap or bipap machines will help inflate patches of collapse or help oxygen. I'd pay for them myself just struggling to walk upstairs is so depressing and I feel no one really gives a damn. Just me reading,

Machines after ablation surgery for paralyzed diaphragm and phrenic nerve
How many out there use a bipap or cpap machine for a paralyzed phrenic nerve and paralyzed diaphragm after pulmonary vein isolation or some refer to it as ablation surgery?

2 Crisis - Twice in one week - a bit much.....
This week we we should have been enjoying Chelsea Flower Show - unfortunately went into AF on the train up to London and felt really ill. Sat on platform whilst Hubbie got help and ambulance was called. Did valsalva maneuver on the platform and reverted into NSR - just as paramedics arrived but then

Newbie to site
I've been on Requip 3mgm for about a year and have gained 25 lbs. which will not come off, even with daily bike riding and trying to diet (cut out sodas and junk food). Trying to come off Requip .... my primary doc said to taper by half a mgm per week. I just went to two mgm two nights ago and am miserable

Pulse Ox levels
I have been on a CPAP machine and then a BIPAP machine at night to keep me breathing since 1996. Recently had a pulse ox monitoring test at nights which determines if the oxygen levels in your blood remain in normal range at night. It a little clip you put in your finger and it records your pulse oxygen

Who to turn to?
Hi, I need advice on who to turn to next. My recent bodyplesmography tests continue to reveal restiction as well as obstruction in my lungs. Currently, I am being treated for mixed form asthma, sleep apnoea due to significatly elevated AHI due to sleep disordered breathing. I know that this is an umbrella

Sleep Study Results
I was browsing the site and read Christian 's article on sleep and it's relationship to mental health so I thought I'd do an update on my sleep study. It wasn't scheduled for another week but the center called a couple of weeks ago with a cancellation and got me in early. There were a couple of significant
