went to casualty as i was coughing up blood [just blood]. they stated that i now have pulmonory fibrosis. i already have severe emphesema. i then went to return my cpap mask a week later and pointed out that my oxygen sats have fallen from 94 to 88 at rest. i was told they would monitor it and discharged me. IS THAT RIGHT ? as am also more breathless over shorter walking distances as well.

It sounds as though you need to speak to your doctor. Or give the BLF helpline a ring on 03000 030 555 during office hours. Good luck.
Under 90 means oxygen is needed to protect your organs from damage. How are they monitoring it? Did they say come back every day and we will test it? How else can they monitor it.? Do you measure it every day and text them with the result? Of course I would never think of if I had the problem. I find it easier to advise others than advise myself!
