Poor sleep in spite of using a CPAP machine
Is anybody out there in the same boat as me, I have been using CPAP treatment for over 20 years, but my actual sleep time is getting worse. It did take me a long time to realise that this was so, I was like people who did not have Sleep Apnea, I thought the machine would promote good sleep. Most nights

Feeling very sorry for myself.
I have a very heavy cold. Just a cold but I feel so unwell and lousy. This is Day 6 and I decided I needed to go to the Dr as my chest was singing as I expired. All night and all day. I really struggled last night with my CPAP mask. My need to see Dr was partly down to anxiety at consequences of

Acid reflux
Hi all, I've had reflux to some extent since my late teens. Found out I had a large hiatal hernia in 06'. I had surgery to repair it in 08'. Everything was great for about four years,no reflux or stomach issues and didn't need any meds or any anti acids. Then I started having a little reflux again. Had

MRI Results
Finally got mri results. NO NEW LESIONS. Hallelujah. Praise God. This was awesome news after all the trouble I went thru getting them. So I guess the Plegridy is doing it’s job. I think I hurt his feelings when I asked him for his definition of a relapse. After his response I asked if that didn’t seem

Wondering about a fairly consistant pain on the left side of my chest under my left nipple? It is consistant, mild to sharp yet not debilitating. I am a 68 year old male. 15 -20 pounds overweith but in pretty good shape. I started using a CPAP machine a week ago and am feeling improvement since starting

Don't think GP practice is treating my condition properly. What can I do about it?
I was diagnosed Hypo in January 2015. Put on Levo 50. At the time I could barely walk as my legs/knees were so painful, I was constantly unwell and fatigued beyond just tiredness. I had been deteriorating alarmingly and significantly for about 2-3 yrs previous to the Thyroid diagnosis. Quick past history

Pulmonary Oedema following heart attack
My husband had a heart attack on Friday. He was taken straight to the cath lab from the ambulance, and they said there was a massive clot in a major artery. They were able to remove some of the clot but because it was so big they did not insert a stent (danger it would push clots around the heart) and

New to CMT
After two years bouncing from 1doctor/specialist my primary care doctor sent me to the University of Florida. There a wonderful neurologist quickly diagnosed me with CMT. That was my beginning of knowing what I was dealing with. I have been bed-ridden for over 2 years using a walker or wheel chair. A

Struggling with PoTS
This week has been the worst since being diagnosed is summer 2015. I have a headache that won’t go away, dizziness lying in bed, turning in bed and getting up to use bathroom. Fainting, tiredness that’s keeping me sleeping for 12-18 hours, at a time, then there’s the non stop palpitations, shaking,
