My husband was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Pca last June (2017)due to a hip fracture. He was immediately put on Hormone treatment – Lupron and Zytiga(prednisone). July, he started chemotherapy. He adopted a completely plant based diet and lots of raw juices(what he could tolerate during chemo) Chemo was Taxotere and Carboplatinum. End of November he got a dose of Strontium and then started a mini-Chemo to sensitize the cells to the strontium.
He started BIRM Over 5 months ago (Oct 2017). He takes the concentrated version. He takes it 3 times a day. It is an easy addition to your nutrition plan.. as it does not require fasting. I am not sure if fasting(Empty Stomach) would help. His original Chromagranin Score was 1857. Normal for our lab is under 100. His most recent Chromagranin score was 82 from March 8. This is down from 95 in January. Both are within normal range. I would love for the score to be below 50. His latest scan in January 22 showed no active disease on organs and lymph nodes. Bones were hard to tell but it looked like dead disease there. His next scan will be at the end of April. Fingers crossed that it will be good.
He noticed no side effects from the BIRM. It does taste bad but my husband says you get used to it.
Side Note: Also remember to get good sleep, Sleep is an important part of your immune system. If you snore get a sleep study done..and maybe a Cpap or Bipap. My husband got his last summer.. after many years of snoring he sleeps like a baby! He does take other supplements but it is a lot to list.
I am praying for you all! Every day! Sending tons of hugs and lots of thank you's for your help this far.
