Erfa Thyroid T4 and T3 amounts
I have not posted on here for a while but have been doing a lot of reading. I have been feeling very very bad for the last two months. My levothyroxine dose was increased to 100mcg on March 15th 2018, I felt awesome through to the end of August and I then started feeling worse in September with fatigue

Anxiety is the normal reaction to problems and threats, perceived or real. Nature gave us anxiety as part of our biological make up, it alerts us to problems that must be dealt with. It also releases certain secretions into our blood stream to better equip us for the task. These include glucose to give

Low blood sugar
I am struggling to keep my blood sugar levels even when running, I wondered if anyone else has had this problem. For many years I have had low blood sugar if I leave a long gap after eating - I try and eat something every 2-3 hours to keep me going. I have managed it ok in normal life but since I started

Statins and Alzheimers
After my bypass surgery in March 2015, I was given a statin drug specifically, Rosuvastatin, 10 mg per day. After several follow up meetings with my cardiologist he gradually increased this to 30 mg per day. Initially I didn't experience any side-effects but by the 6 month I began to experience severe

insulin resistance (home testing) enquiry - quick question
Hi all, I would like to measure my insulin levels to find out whether or not my Hashi's has affected my insulin levels. I did a quick Google search today and found several home testing kits available from high street chemists that test your glucose. Does anyone happen to know if any of these specifically
