Psoriasis sufferer :(
Hello everyone. I am a 17 yr old girl (new to this!) and I've been struggling with eczema and, more predominately psoriasis for a lot of my life. My eczema has nearly died down now but I have bouts of psoriasis on my hands - it spreads to my fingers and makesmy nails uneven, and I always seem to have

Not a pretty pic but.......
Apologies for the picture! As you can see I have an infected toe, I've had a week on antibiotics but it's no better, worse in fact, my GP says he doesn't think it is infected and the fact it isn't healing is nothing to do with my ET or the HU! 😳 I managed to persuade him to take a swab for testing but

Hydrocortisone and Adrenal Insufficiency
hi all Since changing from prednisolone to hydrocortisone my asthma seems to have settled down. It is really weird! It is like a life change. I barely use my blue accuhaler any more. Once or twice a week. I still take symbicort 400/12 but i finally have controlled asthma. i am really suffering with allergies

craniopharyngioma - advice needed.
Hi everyone. I'm desperate for some advice. I'm a 36 year old woman who had a craniopharngioma (brain tumour) as a child. The tumour caused severe damage to my optic nerves and pituitary gland, meaning I don't naturally produce most, if not all hormones that are released from there. I currently take:

Heartbreaking IPF
My dad broke his hip last August, stopped work and was finally diagnosed with COPD and has gone downhill ever since, with a more recent diagnosis of IPF. He has pretty much been house bound and on Oxygen 24/7. After battling water retention, his legs, arms, back and tummy were fit to burst, a constant

Treating Adrenals
Hi My GP won't recognise my health symptoms as being hypothyroid, so I have been self treating using Dr P's Thyroid book. Over the last six weeks I have slowly ramped up the adrenalin supplement to 160mg a day of Adreno Lyph, and have now introduced 80mg Thyroid supplement. I have been feeling the best

Blood test results - can you offer help
After last summer's upset and managing to go hyper on Nutri Thyroid, I was managing ok until quite recently. I had to change my adrenal support from Nutri Adrenal (due to bad adrenaline surges); moved to Thorne Ace and was having to take such quantities, I switched to Hydrocortisone which was suggested

Adrenal/Addisons in females.
I have just been diagnosed with Adrenal insufficiency - 300nmol/l and am now on 10mg,5mg,5mg of hydrocortisone. Luckily I have had regular checks for the past 10 years so this was picked up quickly. I didn't really have any symptoms although I felt tired at times, but thought it was just the disease.

Off all meds!
Been on methotrexate for several years, with steroids aswell.  Tried sulphasalazine and    hydroxy chloroquine but allergic to both.  Last few months introduced Leflunomide...various side effects, but persevered.  Now liver function issues...have been told to stop all medication including pain relief
