Abiraterone Active in Androgen Receptor-Positive Salivary Tumors — Disease control in 62.5% of a small cohort . . . MedPage Today - 10/14/21
I'm posting this because, prior to reading it, I didn't know PCa could invade salivary glands. Interestingly, several years ago, I had a blocked parotid gland that resolved on it own. (Sour candies did the trick.) When it first occurred, I contacted both my dentist and CLL (second cancer) specialist.

Pharmacological significance of extra-oral taste receptors
Every so often, I see a paper which seems odd enough to be interesting despite having no obvious application, at least not in the foreseeable future! [i]Eur J Pharmacol. 2021 Sep 5;174480. doi: 10.1016/j.ejphar.2021.174480. Online ahead of print.

LAMP test for SARS-CoV-2 being Piloted in UK Hospitals and students to reduce asymptomatic transmission.
"A technical and clinical evaluation has confirmed OptiGene RT-LAMP tests to be accurate and sensitive enough to be used for COVID-19 testing, including for those without symptoms." Convergence Insufficiency
I've seen CI mentioned a few times here, sometimes in association with migraine so this might be of interest to some people here: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25313120/ Balance issues also get mentioned here so if you haven't already seen them the Life Rebalanced Chronicles, made for VeDA by an award

Canesten Combi query
Having just finished a course of penicillin, I have now been struck down with extreme soreness and itching down below, which I am sure is thrush as a result of the antibiotics. I was about to try and purchase the above product, or a Fluconazole tablet, when I notice that they are not licensed for people

Severe chronic insomnia. Deteriorating. No strength now. Almost bedridden. Help.
Seems like sleep centre in brain is damaged.( I used to sleep 8 hrs normally before, but in February 2021 I had a severe reaction to a
dental
RCT
treatment
which i believe affected my nervous system , and the insomnia problem suddenly started the day right after that.)

Her dentist said that it’s neonatal teeth and it will fall once the baby teeth starts emerging. It’s been a year and she has got 4 upper teeth and one premolar on the way but no

Covid -19, still a big risk for some.
Some time ago, I wanted to post up a warning about the various covid vaccines, and of the lack of protection they might offer for some. Back in April, (not long after I had my first covid-19 vaccine), news began to filter through on the “Royal Free Hospital London, Liver Transplant Support Group” Facebook
