Some time ago, I wanted to post up a warning about the various covid vaccines, and of the lack of protection they might offer for some.
Back in April, (not long after I had my first covid-19 vaccine), news began to filter through on the “Royal Free Hospital London, Liver Transplant Support Group” Facebook site, that certain people who had received a kidney transplant were not showing any antibodies after having had the covid vaccine.
Soon, other liver transplant patients also started to report the same lack of covid-19 antibodies even after having had both jabs.
I was told not to post anything up at this time, as certain trials were still ongoing. I knew that the Royal Free, the QE Birmingham, along with Bristol, were all carrying out their own investigations, and that maybe it would be better to wait for confirmation.
I felt at the that there was a danger that certain people may have had both jabs and feel they were now fully protected. So there was a danger of complacency being allowed to grow.
It was therefore possible for those people (like myself) who have a weakened or suppressed immune system not to have any resistance to the covid virus because our bodies weren’t producing any antibodies to fight a possible infection. We were all going about our lives thinking we were fully protected, when in fact we were still at a greater risk.
However, the following news article has now appeared in today’s online Daily Mirror, which now confirms that there is a possible lack of antibodies with some people: mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/8...
I personally still wear a mask when I’m out shopping, and still keep to the now obsolete social distant guidelines. Even though the world and his dog thinks the virus is now over.
There are an estimated 5000 cases linked to the recent Cornish music and surf festival earlier (23 Aug). So, caution is still the best option for those who might be at risk.
