Beginning of mine and my boyfriends relationship sex was completely fine nothing wrong it was all good. I got the implant in and I everything was fine I had/have irregular bleeding but I suspected that. But when we had sex I would bleed afterwards and at night be in some vaginal discomfort. I decided to take an STI test that came back negative (chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV, syphilis, hepitis B). So I asked my sexual health clinic for pelvic exam as it just didn’t seem right and they said I had cervical ectropion. Which guess explains the bleeding after sex but does this explain the pain at night in the vagina? And why start after the Implant ? I don’t hurt during sex or straight after I get the pain at night

🤔 Consider seeking a referral to a Gynaecologist..
It’s possible this could be the cause..
Vulvodynia (vaginal pain) refers to pain in the area of the vulva and vaginal opening for which no cause can be identified.
Vulvodynia is not related to sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
The exact cause of vulvodynia is not known.
Symptoms include a burning, throbbing, or aching pain that can be localized to one area of the vulva or more widespread.
Vaginal itching may be associated with vulvodynia.
Vulvodynia can be treated with medications and/or self-care (home remedy) measures. No one treatment is effective for all women.
Local anesthetics, local estrogen creams, antidepressants, and anticonvulsive drugs are examples of medical treatments for vulvodynia.
