Anyone else had problems with their quads?
After my run today (28 mins), my left quad has gone very stiff like a block of wood and is slightly painful when I stand on that leg. Have stretched, iced, had a hot bath and now smell of the alluring odour of 'Eau de Deep Heat!' Any suggestions/tips/help... ouch! :(

What nourishments do you take out with a without gluten consume less calories?
I'm pretty certain I've got a gluten affect-ability, yet am unsure what to take out. I move toward examining this with my doc soon, yet simply needed a general thought before going in. Much appreciated! __________________________________________________________________ gluten free diet benefits skin

Deep Brain Surgery for R.L.S.
Do any of the administrators or members know if Doctors are considering D.B.S yet for R.L.S? I bullied my Doctor into giving me a referral 12 mths ago but at the time it was thought that there was not enough information regarding the part of the brain to be worked on and a bit risky if it would work

One step forward, two steps back.
Since last December I've been really struggling with my IBS. Constant dull throbbing pains in my sides and abdomen, needing the loo 7 or 8 times one day, unable to go the next, always feeling either anxious or down. I was very stressed at work which I feel was the main contributing factor back in December

What can I do to improve hair structure?
I started thyroxine and a gluten free diet 3 years ago, and since have had wiry hair. I used to have silky hair before. Is there anything I can take (that's not meat) to improve hair quality? Most hair supplements seem to have iodine, and I've heard mixing thyroxine and iodine aren't a good match.

Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN), good, bad or useless?
I know it has been asked before but has anyone got experiences with LDN (Low dose naltrexone)? I know it's a controversial subject but I would like to try to take LDN and see if I can titrate down the amount of stalevo I need. I currently take Stalevo (3x125 + 5x100), Azilect and Amantadine (3x100mg

I have had Parkinson's for 14 years and take SInamet 7-8 times a day, Mirapex, and amantadine,I have never had a tremor or balance issue. My main symptoms are stiffness of neck , shoulders, fatigue, illegible handwriting and clumsiness, and panic attacks. I wonder if DBS would help these symptoms

Coeliac Disease and bowel disease - is there anything left to eat?!!! :-(
I was diagnosed approximately a year ago with Coeliac Disease following symptoms during the previous 2 years and a stillbirth at almost 38 weeks. Following diagnosis my symptoms didn't improve whilst on a gluten free diet and a colonoscopy showed that I also have lymphocytic colitis (microscopic bowel

Activated carbon and gluten?
Peat, coconut, lignite coal, bituminous coal, wood The above are the ingredients in an activated carbon water filtration system that I am considering changing to. I currently have an activated carbon system but dont know what the media consists of. As coal and peat are products of organic plant

Car accident after DBS surgery
I had a very successful DBS surgery in June. Most if my dysekinesia disappeared. The rigidity subsided and I was moving much better. My face no longer had that Parkie look. I still had my meds but not as much. Then came Jan 16, 2013. My wife was driving a 2997 Geo Metro and hit an SUV that pulled out
