What about your DBS has changed in the last hour? Can you check its function? The nurse could be right too. Antibiotics could solve the mystery while you get your DBS hardware checked out. Cover all bases.

If you were stateside I would suggest calling 911. I am not sure of what type of similar program you might have where you live. Find a way to meet face to face with a neurologist and get this taken care of, ASAP!

I hope by now you have seen a nero and told him about the welding. We have been told that welding is a nono for DBS patients.
