Hi I am new
I have Parkinsons desease since 1996 (at the age of 32), I had DBS in 2013 which resulted in a drama. I wonder if anybody knows if there is a trouble shooting clinic in Europe for people like me? It's very expensive to go to the United States . I live in the Netherlands.

Hypothyroidism and iron defiancy anaemia
Hi Can anyone of you lovely people on here throw any light on the above. My friend who had hypothyroidism also suffered IDA. Could there be a link do you think as hubby is suffering from both. Haven't managed to speak to anyone yet as not due up the Churchill until middle of March. As I've said before

DBS Surgery
I am considering the DBS surgery, as I am now taking 8 (25/100) Sinemet and 1 (50/200) Extended Release Sinemet each day. I live alone and wonder if that would be a problem. Would love to hear from folks that have had this surgery. Thanks!

DBS and Falls

I have the results below for ferritin, folate, vitamin D and B12 below. I take 800iu vitamin D and I have been taking this for 4 years. GP has been adding this and taking it off again a few times. DBS DOESN'T SEEM TO WORK
My son, 56, diagnosed 7 years ago, suffered terribly with violent tremors and wild dyskinesia for the past few years. He was completely housebound, mostly bedridden, and suffered broken bones in dyskinetic falls. He was sent for discussion re: DBS 4 years ago, finally it was approved and bilateral

Iron deficiency anemia....85% of us!!!
Hi folks, I finished my FEC on the 30th of April, my Radiation in September and had a total hysterectomy in December. I thought my total fatigue was normal considering. I also had residual damage to my thyroid function from the chemo so it took a bit to titrate my dose of levothyroxine

Changing from NDT to Levothyroxine
Hi all, I've been taking NDT (Thyroid-S) now for 3 years and have done pretty well on it. I have followed the guidelines from STTM regarding supplementing my low iron, D3 and B12 in that time, although for around the past 6 months I've cut back a bit on iron and D3 because of the cost. According to

The dr who operated on him said that it has to be programmed different way, not as for dyskenesia. But unfortunately the dr who is doing his programming

Take my pain away, P-L-E-A-S-E!!!!
I had a stroke when I was 50 (hole of my heart - now closed). I am fine, with some little frustration but I really would like the government to have funding for DBS which would take my hemiplegic pain away!! From my hair of my head to the toes of the foot on my right sided of my body, the pain I have
