Less than 2 weeks left of our 6 month wait!
So the time is coming closer and we can’t wait. In less than 2 weeks we will have completed our 6 month donor wait! We will have our last counselling and specialist appointment on the 2nd of October and then get access to the donor website so we can choose our donor. After we choose hopefully we will

ADHD & Sensory Issues HELP
My 8 year old daughter has ADHD, ODD & SPD. How do I get her to wear different shoes & clothes? She refuses to wear any other shoes than the ones we got her almost 1 1/2 years ago. They are so small her toes are almost popping out of them. She also refuses to wear socks and that started when she was

Parents who disagree with treatment
My step son is 6 years old and has not been formally diagnosed with ADHD yet. The school and pediatrician won't test him because of his age. My 11 year old son has ADHD and it runs in the family. I'm not an expert but I know ADHD symptoms all too well. Our 6 year old not only has issues with impulse

I want to stand in the middle of nowhere and SCREAM until I’m hoarse
I think that would make me feel a lot better. So my journey started almost a year ago when I went to see my GP and he decided to refer me and see if I had Arthritis. Today at the rheumatology clinic I had it confirmed.... there is no doubt, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Although I’ve spent the last year

Getting out of the pit of depression
I was really depressed partly because I got diagnosed with a movement disorder that makes me walk super slowly but also because I had just given up. Only shifting my mentality completely to the positive has allowed me to get off depression meds (I was taking lexapro). I also did 6 months of counseling

A lifetime of chronic fatigue -does my history sound like Thyroid?
Im a 39y female with a lifetime of fatigue/illness. Past year, ive experienced even worse fatigue/cognitive function meaning ive been unable to work and really barely living, im a single parent so its affecting my daughter too. Im afraid i will almost certainly lose my job and fear my life is being wasted

Psycho-social and emotional aspects of prostate cancer
I read a lot about men's concerns over the consequences of prostate cancer (PCA) and naturally most of it focuses on the life changing aspects, the physical treatment, ED, incontinence, changed bowel habits, loss of libido and so on. Perhaps it's because we're men that a lot is unsaid particularly about

I am new
I'm new here, hello everyone. I was diagnosed in June this year with Grade 3 ER+, PR+ and HER2 positive 3+ ductal carcinoma. My treatment started in July with chemotherapy for 6-7 sessions, every three weeks then follows with surgery, mastectomy and then medication for 10+ years after. I am proud

Help
Hey I just started back on meds for my depression, been struggling for years but the last year has been really bad. Isolating myself, serious anxiety and low self esteem. My husband has now told me that he needs us to go to counseling due to the "issues" in our marriage. These issues all seem related

Abused husband
I’ve come to another crossroad in my marriage. I have 4 children and have been married for 12 years now. This pass week we had a argument and my wife started to hit me and throw things at me. My 3 yr old was home at the time and fortunately did not get hit by anything but was extremely upset. My wife

Anxiety is overwhelming
I suffer from anxiety and go through bouts every so often that really push me down and feel defeated. I've been doing a lot of counseling and working techniques to get through the tough times but it sure doesn't feel like I'm winning. It's hard for people to understand what it's like to go through anxiety

Lost
I don’t know if I want to die. I just want the pain to stop. The anxiety. Feeling like a burden. Like I can’t do anything right. I want it all to stop. But it doesn’t. I know my children deserve a better mother. I know my fiancé deserves a better spouse. I feel like everyone would be better off without

Family Stealing Cash (Further Question)
Hi Everyone, I have posted about this before so I hope you don't mind me asking again. I have evidence of my mother stealing my disability trust fund compensation money. I have been begging to see my trusts bank statements for a decade (give or take). Am still having lots of nightmares about it and waking

My child has OCD
Hello. I landed here because I’m searching for answers as to how to help my children who both are showing signs of OCD and high anxiety. Their father (my ex husband) has ocd and is in medication for it. I only found out about the depth and complexity of his OCD when we were in marriage counseling

Newly diagnosed
Hi everyone. I have just had a blood test and was told by my GP that I have Lupus SLE. She then told me to go home and google it, whilst waiting for an appointment at the hospital with a nephrologist. Suffice to say, I have become hugely anxious and worried what the future holds. I'm waiting for counselling

Doctors
I think my mental health has got to the point where I do need some type of support. I refuse to tell my ‘friends’ or my family what’s going on, so maybe just going to the doctor might help a little. However, I don’t want medications and I don’t want to go through counselling again, the thought of telling

Suggest or relate to my issues
My panic attacks in school are no joke I am really 'scared' of others around me but people are not aware ... They see me as like some tough stuck up bad person when in reality I am dying inside, carrying a low self esteem, wanting someone to run to. I'm also so realistic, when you step back and take
