Rejection Sensitivity
Hi everyone, I'm new here (first post). I was diagnosed with ASD in 2021, after lifelong issues around socialising/social anxiety, Generalised Anxiety Disorder and depression. The diagnosis didn't come as a shock to me, as I had suspected for quite a while that I may be Autistic - however, I found

in a pit I can’t get out of.
I am no stranger to this depression and anxiety. But need support. I have spiralled downwards. Have stopped leaving the house, not getting washed and no decent sleep as I lie about all day. I invited friends for coffee tomorrow , but had to cancel. Hadn’t strength to tidy up and clean house or myself

Emotional regulation…..
When I was diagnosed with ADHD, at age 30, I began taking medication. With kids, a family and career, my schedule was good 7 days a week. Twenty years later…. My schedule isn’t as consistent, my kids are gone, and I get ‘overwhelmed‘ so easily. I am just now learning about my emotional dysregulation

Wife/Mother of ADHD Family
My husband and two middle school age children all have ADHD. All 3 are medicated and this does help but not nearly enough. I. I love my family dearly, but often times I just simply do not want to be in the same house with them. On most days, I feel like I am drowning and sinking deeper into depression

Managing emotional space with 25 year old ADHD daughter
I'm thankful to be part of this group and to hear everyone's stories. My child is 25 years old and living in a different state. When she was in high school and still living with us, she was diagnosed with anxiety and depression, but also impairment of executive function skills, which probably should

Please help me with my Social Anxiety
Hi, for as long as I can remember I've suffered from severe Social Anxiety. It didn't have a name 70 yrs ago when I was a kid. I was just considered a 'naughty girl cause I wouldn't go go school. School was like a torture chamber to me from day one. So many people, faces caused me terror. I tried everything

Self Sabotage
Hi all, I am a long term OCD sufferer currently in the throes of a severe relapse. I have had to take 20 days off work since November as a result of this and at this stage I'm wondering if I will ever be able to go back. So far my treatment has consisted of an increased dose of meds plus some counselling

Thinking in Circles on Treatment and Medication

Hi, I was admitted into a MSW program and started recently. I was hesitant to apply because of my mental issues because of this thought: why are u trying to help others when u can not help yourself most days. I have not attended school since 2016, I was ill 2014-2017. And those ordeals I had to face

Fear of driving
My psychiatrist has referred me to a partial hospitalization treatment about 45 minutes away to treat my paralyzing panic attacks. I’m very fortunate that my insurance company will pay. I’m really grateful for this opportunity as medication and counseling have not been enough to help. My problem

Two Years On - What Treatment?
Hey all, So, I officially got a diagnosis for PNES - FND back in March 2023, after what we realised is 19 years of misdiagnosed, mistreated, and ignored symptoms. I'm coming up to a year with an official diagnosis, and I'm realising that this is it. This is just my life now. I'm consciously having
