Please give advice
Hi everyone, I started taking champix and I am on day 14 now. Before I started taking them I was nervous, because my brother had used it in the past and his symptoms was horrible. So he quit champix and is still smoking today. When I took the first pill I had like this instant dislike for the taste of

So my last post was the fear of giving up and I took the leap and stopped. So I have done 3.5 days and so far it's been ok. On champix so obviously helping with cravings but so far so good. Think today will be the test as ok not smoking at home but work seems to be a massive trigger, so lots of will

10 weeks and still scared!
So, I gave up using Champix 10.5 weeks ago. I've put about 16lbs on! I've now had to join Slimming World and start running! I am too scared to think that I will never smoke again - I have to keep myself going by saying that it is only temporary, trying to convince myself that i will smoke again one

Day 7 - got to keep trying
So I had a period today where I felt really weak and the craving was strong (my cravings seem to last over half an hour, or maybe they come in bursts). I almost convinced myself that smoking would be alright. Then I remembered that smoking would not be all that nice anyway because of the Champix. Honestly

Day 4 - eliquid dilemma
So I've got a bit of a problem. Some eliquid came in the post, it's got nicotine in it. I ordered it a few days ago in a panic. Should I throw it away? Can I use it? I'm 4 days nicotine free on Champix! I think i will throw it away.

Fear of completely stopping
I have been on Champix for 3 weeks and although gone from smoking 20 a day to now 2 or 3, which is good but I am finding it so difficult to take the plunge and stop completely, it's almost like I'm slightly scared to do it, which is a bizarre way to feel. I'm not sure how to get though this. I think

Can't find the right time
Hi everyone, I'm on day 25 of Champix and I'm still smoking. I think I need to quit by the 5 week mark really but I'm not sure. Most of the cigarettes I have, i only have half. I feel a bit disappointed in myself and in Champix. I just can't seem to set a date and stick with it. I've had three days

3 Weeks Today!!!
Wow, I've made it this far! Still having intermittent nausea with the morning champix, even with dry toast and water. Why it hits some mornings and not others is beyond me. Last two mornings I couldn't face taking it, so just took the evening dose earlier with a full meal at suppertime. So far so good

Champix day 7.
Hey everyone! I'm new to the site.. After smoking for 50 years I find myself on day 7 of Champix with my quit day in sight. The Champix has been great for me, no side effects at all (except for getting the best weeks sleep ever and developing a tremendous appetite)! I have found that Champix very subtly

Feeling good! Thanks Roisin for the tip about eating dry toast before taking Champix, and then taking it with a full glass of water. It really helped. Only minimal nausea yesterday and none today. Funny thing though, I've started having a few cravings now I don't feel so nauseated. But I've got 9

5 Years ago quit smoking :)
With the help of this forum and Champix, I quit smoking 5 years ago - anniversary was on Jan 19. I have to say that I hardly ever think of smoking anymore. The best tip I got about quitting smoking was from this forum - " we quit in the sub-conscious"- I think that was "Austinlegro's" great comment

Week 10 Champix no cigs + weed. My experience so far.
I've been on the Champix for 9 weeks now and it's definitely working. It started working around week 2 relapsed in week 3 on having half a cig and it tasted horrible and threw away the cigs after a few drags. Loads of side effects on Champix I mean loads but in phases. First 3 -5 weeks was tough on
