Is there a connection between PA and high serum osmolality?
I have diagnosed PA and also high serum osmolality. It was tested to check for diabetes insipidis. Anyone else have this high serum osmolality and PA? Thankyou

spasms
I have been having very severe spasm and pain in both of my legs the past two nights, the worst I have experienced to date. I am on muscle relaxants and tramadol for pain and carbidopa/levodopa for Pakinson like symptoms, none of which helped 2 nights ago and I ended up falling hitting my back and

reactive thrombocytosis, headache, hip pain, platlets 580x Esr 22 and pcr 7.7 hellllpppppp!
I have been having headaches for 8 weeks along with front hip pain (not sure if they are related) I had bloods taken and was given all normal apart from high platlets 580, ESR 22 and PCR 7.7. I am seeing haematology in March but I am desperate to get an idea what is going. My headaches are more annoying

Hello!I was wondering if anyone has experience of this. What can be done about it, is it reversible with optimal levo? For context, I have Hashi's, I'm 51 and currently experiencing another bout of terrible anxiety ( last time was 5 years ago). Tests have discovered the enlarged LA. I don't have any

Anyone have experience of taking Imiquimod when taking hydroxycarbamide?
I don't post on here often but have now been diagnosed with VAIN2. I am currently being treated with hydroxycarbamide & low dose aspirin for JAK2 positive MPN (high platelets but treatment is currently keeping these within normal range). My gynaecologist wants me to start on imiquimod rather than any

Highly suspected the reason of my tinnitus
I suddenly remember after one time i get some throat spray into my ears then i got tinnitus months ago And then i searched the ingredients Which is below Conclusions: Chlorhexidine in both human studies and animal models demonstrates ototoxicity if it reaches the inner ear. I dont know if its too late

air flow heating
it’s winter Walker again , I spoke to the lung and asthma help line and found out I had not been taking my trimbo correctly so I’m hoping the walking is going to improve. I live in a private rented flat which for heating has an air flow system. Once I heard that it’s bad for lungs, I have been using

Article of interest outlining the complex nature of the brain. Extracts from research into Hyperacusis (and associated Tinnitus)
I'm sharing this, as I think it's interesting. Whilst this is an extract from a scientific study about Hyperacusis, it discusses Tinnitus (mentioned 34 times). Im afraid it doesn't have conclusive answers, but further understanding helps me better accept these two apparently interrelated conditions.

Hereditary spastic paraparesis (HSP) and Ataxia how do you get diagnosed with HSP?
I wondered if you could point me in the direction of how to get a diagnosis of HSP? If anyone has one and or are in the same position as me. I am seeking answers. I have an extremely rare chromosome duplication with very little known about it. I have had a look at some research papers and there was

More spleen chat
Hi I have MF diagnosed in February I am on Jakavi 20 twice daily started at the end of March . Since before I was diagnosed with MF I have had spleen discomfort. A scan in the spring showed the spleen to be 18 cm. I had hoped that the Jakavi would have reduced the spleen by now but I still have discomfort

SCT update
Hello friends, I have been out of hospital for a few weeks now and am just starting to feel stronger. Today is day +65.Blood counts are slowly improving but I daren't take anything for granted. The main issue now is that I have developed skin GVHD; the itching is horrendous though Dermovate cream helps

New to the forum, tinnitus and hyperacusis
Hello, Just curious if there is anyone on this forum who has Tinnitus and hyperacusis? For the last few weeks I have been dealing with another spike. Last spike was about a year ago and it took approximately 3 to 4 months for it to subside. I work in a busy hospital and I am trying to manage it so

I have read the relationship between cfs and fibromyalgia and emotional trauma and being associated with Narcissists.
On you tube there was a good video about the relationship between narcissistic abuse and auto immune issues and included was CFS and Fibro. To sum it up.. being around narcissistic people and their bs.. causes us to be in fight or flight. Causing are nervous system to basically go into over drive..
