i was quite shocked
initially as it was my assessment anyway it turns out that i would have had to pay £55 a week towards my care which is a few quid above my care component of my DLA, now my care component goes towards but comes no where near to being spent on weekly fuel about £57week electric for lift chair toilet

Still waking every 2 -3 hours despite CPAP?
My question for you all is does anybody else have this sort of problem even using
CPAP
where they always end up only ever sleeping in 2 - 3 hour chunks rather than ever having a full decent nights sleep?

It's My 55th Birthday...Do You Believe it?
The
CPAP
machine HAS helped. The first morning after I used it, even colors were more vivid. It was like looking at my surroundings and life in a whole new manner. I thought, 'wow, a week of this and I'll feel like a whole new person'. However, it was short-lived.

I recieved a letter last week telling me I had it and I am to attend an appointment at the sleep clinic on Thursday concerning
CPAP
treatment. A leaflet was meant to be in the letter but I think they must have forgotton to put it in.

Are there any treatments for RLS that work but don't cause daytime tiredness as a side-effect?
Although also suffering from sleep apnoea, that is treated by a
CPAP
machine. I suspect the cause could be a side effect of the pramipexole I am taking for RLS. I've tried ropinerole and the Patch but didn't get on well with them. Does anyone else take anything that doesn't cause sleepiness?

sleep apnea and diabetes
CPAP
improves insulin sensitivity and glycemic control in patients with sleep apnea, particularly for non-obese patients.

I was getting oxygen through the wall which wasn't doing any good so i was moved to Intensive Care where i spent 12 days, with a
CPAP
mask on for seven days and nights.Anyone who has ever had one one will know that it is not a nice experience.although without it i wouldn't be here today.

Sleep issues are not always due to Fibro alone....
I now sleep using a
CPAP
breathing machine. Not solved all my problems but has eased them. If you have sleep issues might not only be because of Fibro...

Ooh, I'm awake now and I'm so cross!
About 15 minutes ago I woke up with a mixture of a dry tongue (due to the
CPAP
machine I use for sleep apnoea), painful cramp in both inner thighs and RLS in my shoulders and arms (which I don't normally get). I was looking forward to a lie-in, now my sleep is disrupted...ggrrrr!

Hospital visit today
Today I took my husbands
cpap
