Are you having any specific problems?
I got used to mine fairly quickly. if you are struggling with the mask/straps (which has been my main issue), they have different types of masks and straps and sizes so try different ones with the team who provided yours. Dry mouth is another issue I have - haven't worked out how to resolve that one yet!
Hope this helps,

I too have problems with Dry mouth (Diabetes as well) and use Boots Expert Dental Dry Mouth Spray and cost about £2.70 for a small spray bottle and it lasts me about two months

Thanks for that David, will give that a try. I am also diabetic (steroid induced after high doses of prednisolone for 3 1/2 years) so sometimes it's hard to tell which is causing what

You need to try and look back at other posts about this. I have written lots about the benefits of CPap and how to get used to it. I have had mine for about 5 years now and would not be without it.if you cannot find the posts the tell me and I will write it all again.
I have sleep apnoea and have to use a cpap every night. It's not something to 'cope with' really, more 'get used to'. As with flylikeeagles, the mask was the main issue for me initially, but once you've found one that fits ok, and you find a decent position for the machine by your bedside that is comfortable for you to sleep with, you really start to stop noticing it after a while.
Good luck with it
I have been using a a BiPAP (Same as a CPAP but has different air pressure for inhalation and expiration) now for over a year. I found it difficult at first but changed from a Nasal mask to a full face mask and added a hose lift and it has now become routine. During the night the pressure in my lungs disappears only to return in the morning, which is a relief (I also suffer from COPD).
Contact the sleep clinic you will find them very helpful and they are committed to help you to use the machine.

I have the same and sleep each night with a breathing machine. I thought I could use it sometimes but now realise this is a piece of night 'Face Furniture' for life. Saving a life.....
Mine!
Pneumonia I also had after a House Fire in 2011.
Find out about the life saving mask.......so important and it takes 5/10 years of worry lines from your face....I know as my son-in-law also has to wear the breathing mask and he looks great...!
Wish you well go to the Doctors and ask for the mask.
