Difficulties exercising: Hi, i have... - Weight Loss Support
Difficulties exercising

It's very difficult to find activities as i am really limited.
Hi Clare. Would you be able to do chair exercises? There is one on the nhs website. You would need to check with your doctor whether it was ok for you.

Thank you Pierre, yes can do chair exercise.
It does sound as though you could do with some holistic support from your medical team. It is possibly to lose weight without really increasing your activity - I've had to do it, again because of medical barriers, and it was tough but I did it. This time round (which is only the second time... I took my eye off the ball or rather, off the scales) I've been well enough to do some exercise and it has helped.
You could perhaps try cycling - I have an electrically assisted bicycle to make it possible for me (hired one first)
You could also have a look at the NHS Strength and Flexibility programme. It may be that you have to focus on those elements rather than cardiovascular/serious calorie burning.
I also like Ekhart Yoga on YouTube, lots of gentle options there, including one for MS.
Try Forever Living Products - they have an Aloe based drink call Forever Freedom which was specially made for people with problems with their joints. You get all the health benefits of Aloe, and they have included glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM, natural elements shown to maintain healthy joint function and flexibility.
They also have Forever Active HA (60 Softgel Capsules) - it contains ginger oil and tumeric roots making it a very powerful nutritional joint supplement
For your lungs, they have Echinacea Supreme which fortifies the respiratory tract, and Forever Bee Propolis which has a wide range of benefits, including respiratory health.
While these are natural health supplement, it is wise to take them in consultation with your doctor.

It is not good to recommend anyone taking supplements without fully knowing their medical history. I am not allowed to take certain medications and supplements because of problems I have and I would always advise anyone to speak to their GP before taking anything.
I agree ceejayblue. Ask your G.P to refer you to physio for exercise program, they would know what you can safely do, Good Luck
Try Aqua Yoga. You will exercise body in a calm way. You might feel you could do just a little gentle swim after the yoga.
But of course as everyone has said - you should be getting medical advice on how to exercise safely!
Thank you
