Handling Emotional Pain Part 2
Counselling
makes certain groups of people a lot of money. If a person can develop a movement regime which does away with
counselling
there is no need for
counselling
. The counsellor has reduced earning potential. The psychiatrist certainly has reduced earning potential.

Step in the right direction
Went and saw a MH professional today for what was essentially a watered down evaluation. Broke down and cried in the office. Admitted to her that I was thinking about death and dying. I told her that I don't want to feel this way anymore and that I need more help. She was kind, but worried. I had to

OCD and trauma
I have had a few series of
counselling
. The problem is that I was not willing at the time to really talk about the trauma. Which sounds silly now, but I wanted to focus on relationship problems instead - which I rekon is a part of my OCD in fact!

Caregiving for depression/anxiety
Care Giving of a depressed person! I live with my younger sister who suffers from anxiety and depression. She is in counseling and takes Prozac and Xanax but it doesn't seem to be helping. I need some tips on how to not only help her but help ME understand. I have been there, too. Seems it runs in

Implication Counselling for ED
I know the law over here requires the clinic to offer you to have
counselling
which I whole heartedly agree with. However in Spain it is not mandatory. I am still wanting for us to have some implication
counselling
but can’t seem to find where to begin to find this sort of
counselling
.

Whats happening really!!
I'm so sorry for your relationship struggles with your mom and your battle with drugs. If you're planning on going back to college after the semester break, you might want to set up an appointment to speak with a mental health counselor at your school. Most schools have a counseling center on campus

I'm a 68 yo gay male, partnered for 37 years and last December was diagnosed with metastasized prostate cancer by MRI guided biopsy. I had a very enlarged prostate (known for a number of years) with predominantly Gleason 9 (4+5) and a 68.3 PSA at the time I began Lupron injections and daily bicalutamide

HI I'm just wondering what support/
counselling
people with heart disease have been offered when having to make difficult decisions regarding treatment and prognosis. My experience is that there was none. I was wondering what others have found.

Health anxiety or something sinister???
I keep going back and forth with the GPs who keep saying it’s anxiety causing my symptoms and to see a physio or chiropractor and have given me leaflets on
counselling
. I’ve managed to get an ultrasound on my neck lump although the GP said they weren’t too concerned.
