I have contacted the mental health counselling support near me but the waiting time is around 4 weeks for the first telephone appointment. Living with this constant fear is becoming harder and I don’t know how much I can cope anymore.

You know anxiety and depression are horrible illnesses. They zap the life out of you. It makes you feel like you are alone and that the world is against you and you just want to die to end the pain! That is a big fat lie! Your negative thoughts will scream this to you constantly! It is time we take control

Looking for a good Counselor in/near Dallas that is familiar with MS or chronic diseases I had a very good one, but she no longer takes Medicare. Current MS physician recommends a mental health website to go to, but it doesn’t screen except by zip code and other impersonal parameters. Any suggestions

followed by a health @slimmingworld breakfast .. porridge berries apple pinenuts coconut oil and honey 🍯 gotta keep the energy levels .. just waiting for confirmation of when counselling will start .. I am so freaking PROUD OF ME.

Any advice would be really helpful, getting pretty low and fed up of constantly feeling ill and a GP telling me I need counselling!

My sisters think I need counselling. Others that it’s stress. I sort of wish they were both right as then the symptoms would go away... nb. I’m generally quite positive and cheerful even if it might not seem like it from the above. So good to find somewhere I can get some honest answers.

I am on the meds and having intense counselling but it doesn’t seem to be helping. I feel so flat all the time and don’t really enjoy anything. I am 48, have a lovely husband and two amazing sons but nothing seems to cheer me up. I cry most of the time and live my life feeling so scared.

Past 2/3 weeks av been up and out more gp hospital and counselling appointments even go to my friends house past 3 days.

I think it’s the anxiety creeping back in, been doing some counselling but they have discharged me now, don’t know if this is why I am more anxious or whether it’s because my sister keeps putting off checkups for checking the cancer she had last year is still at bay!!

I have tried and still trying mind training/CBT at home and just started counselling last week so hoping this might help too, waiting on referral for CBT.

I’m on the waiting list for counselling but as you probably all know, it’s a long list. So, just a hello really! And wondered if anyone in particular has any tips to share? Thanks x

I have tried CBT, counselling, self help books, apps, internet pages. Exercise, and self help groups. On there own they didn't work but together I gained knowledge that gave me strength. Now when things get bad I accept it and let time pass.

Risk modification includes screening for and management of cardiovascular and venous thrombosis risk factors, patient education about treatment adherence, and lifestyle counselling.

I have taken counselling for my anxiety and depression which has improved somewhat. However I am concerned that my mental health state may be partly caused by my thyroid dysfunction.
