adrenal support after weaning off Medrol
I recently order this product after weaning off Medrol (4 mg daily) which I took for almost five years for adrenal fatigue: https://www.pureformulas.com/pure-adrenal-400-60-capsules-by-professional-formulas.html The reason I ordered this supplement was 1. I don't feel optimal yet (tend to feel tired

Adrenal Test - Convincing Myself
I've been mulling over whether I want or need to test my adrenal glands (via the synacthen/ACTH test) , having reached the 7mg Pred dosage level I consider myself fortunate, as although having had my share of hiccups along the way, I've reached this point in the manner and time I had planned. I've

Cervicogenic headache
I have had one
cortisone
injection ( ineffective). Options are to have another injection or have the nerve severed which will end headache but result in numbness to the L side of my head. For now I am continuing with the medicines and put up with the headaches now and then.

Cover ups by NHS
I put some posts on some time ago re my daughter and the unethical treatment she received. This is an update of how far drs will go to cover up previous medical negligence and some of the previous 'treatment' she received. 1) manipulation of the facts by drs to 'explain' their own lack of investigation

Prostate Cancer & Hormones - Cortisol
Cortisol is known as the stress hormone. Wiki: "It is released in response to stress and low blood-glucose concentration. It functions to increase blood sugar through gluconeogenesis, to suppress the immune system ... It also decreases bone formation." [1] "Diurnal cycles of cortisol levels are found

NEED MORE ADVICE ABOUT THYROID/CORTISOL LABS
Former post with new numbers: I am a 32 yr old female who has had a rough two and a half years, but before that I had been pretty okay except always had female problems. In November 2014, I was diagnosed with fibro (had hysterectomy, kept ovaries). Since then, it's been carpal tunnel and arthritis

Progression of fibromyalgia-clear view of one source of pain after taking large doses of Magnesium.
I am not keen on
cortisone
because of the long tem effects but it ruined my recent holiday and I can't see it getting better. Anyone had
cortisone
? I will let you know how it goes. Strong magnesium does nothing for fibro pain but it was remarkable how it gave me a clear "view" of my fibro pain.

After a positive experience with the Endo, it was back to the GP for the results of the tests he ordered. I booked in with my usual GP but arrived to find she had swapped clinics with a different doctor (who I don't rate - would have cancelled the appt if I had known!). My normal GP had told me she

Sed rate okay CRP not as high as expected
I was given a shot of
cortisone
. By the next day I was feeling good all over and sleeping. Started physical therapy on shoulder but after about 4 weeks was getting worse. Switched GPs as I was getting nowhere and I had gotten to the point that I was in pain trying to tie my shoes.

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in Australia in 2008 just after second baby (TSH was 38.45 and raised thyroid antibodies, also had low ferritin and high cholesterol). At time, was busy juggling newborn and toddler so I saw an endo for a few months to settle on a dose of levothyroxine of 100mg a

Thyroid dr Salisbury queries
I've already had issues with endocrinologists in the past regarding my
cortisone
levels. If he's rubbish then I'd rather see someone better qualified. Thanks in advance Antonia B.

Hello. Looking for answers for daughter...
Talked to Dr at daughters well visit and she examined skin and said we should try
cortisone
cream and see if that helps. It's done nothing.
