Supplements to reduce antibodies?
Can anyone suggest supplements that may help me in getting my antibodies down. I am following the Paleo diet and have seen various integrative GP's, but each one has given me a different list of supplements to take. (I am not happy about taking too many supplements!) I'm now feeling a bit confused

Pseudogout with PMR?
I was going to get a
cortisone
injection in that knee yesterday but it was delayed due to my being on Coumadin. From what I gather, acute pseudogout, being an inflammatory arthritis, is treated much the same way as PMR but with short term steroids rather than long term.

How often do you do bloodwork?
Also had a steroid
cortisone
shot in my back on 11/28. Rhumy has mentioned there is a new hopeful drug going through FDA testing here in the US, hopefully out next year. Anyone heard of this?

would appreciate input on latest lab results
I'd really appreciate some input on my latest labs. I have been on Thyroid-S from Thailand for the past few months, as that is much cheaper than Erfa, Armour etc. I like Thyroid-S, and have felt good on it, although I find it rather weak (possibly because of all the fillers, including cellulose), which

My crazy year
So, I tried
cortisone
shots twice in each knee. It lasted one day each time with no relief. A couple months later I tried the gel injection and passed out with it. No relief. He said something else is going on that it shouldn't be this bad.

Primary vs. Secondary Addison's Disease
Hey guys, Does anyone have any experience with Addison's? I went to the Endo a while back for a bunch of weird symptoms. My doctor confirmed Hashimoto's but my thyroid is still in range, so she won't/can't medicate me. However, she did test my cortisol and it came back low. I went in for another blood

Excruciating pain & upcoming surgeon visit!
I've done physical therapy, massage therapy, acupuncture,
cortisone
injections (SI joints & epidural blockers - 3 full rounds of all of these shots), medications (I swear over 20 different kinds to get best result). The last epidural injection I got a couple of weeks ago was horrible!

AMN and muscle growth
Muscles need protein to grow and the
cortisone
/prednisone (etc) supplements most of us take break down proteins and lead to muscle wasting. So from what I've been reading if one wanted to (most)successfully work out, the lower the dose the best it would be.

Can 2017 be the year when we ban the use of the phrase 'adrenal fatigue' .......please.
Thyroid Uk provides members with well considered and knowledgable guidance and support. I have depended on it many times and feel very much part of the community here. I feel our integrity and intelligence is in question when the phrase 'adrenal fatigue' continues to be used in relation to thyroid

Does this sound familiar to you? (pain in my hand)
I don’t want to go to my GP or contact my Rheumy AGAIN as I’m right in the middle of an issue at the moment regarding my knee (have a Meniscus tear and waiting for a
cortisone
injection and an Op).

Avulsions fracture with RA
I sustained an avulsions fracture this weekend and am wondering is this might have been exacerbated by the RA, meds, or perhaps a
cortisone
injection I received less than 2 weeks ago. Any thoughts?
