Concern about getting more Covid-19 vaccines.
I was diagnosed under 2 years ago. I guess I’ve had it since 2007. Just wondering about getting more Covid-19 vaccines. I have believed it is a good idea to get them. But every time I have I get some very odd things I’ve never experienced before. Rash. Sore in my eye. Eye infection. I cut my arm and

Do I now stop or delay more covid vaccines or how often to get vaccines now? Im 79 with CLL for years. Luckily I have not had Covid yet. I have taken every covid vaccine offered including the bivalent one last Sept. I also got two doses of Evusheld 6 mos apart with last one in Sept 2022. I've read

NICE says no to Evusheld in the UK
Today NICE announced that they do not recommend that preventative Covid treatment Evusheld is used in the UK. This is a treatment aimed especially at the immunosuppressed, who in many cases cannot get adequate protection from Covid vaccines. Here is the full NICE announcement: https://www.nice.org.uk

I tested positive for covid yesterday and was started on Paxlovid. My major complaint is head and jaw pain. Could this be a GCA flair? I doubled my prednisone to 6 mg yesterday but nothing seems to help. I have been taking Tylenol every 8 hours. My recent blood tests Sed rate and CRP were excellent.

PMR after Covid vaccine?
I am very much FOR vaccines, but I have noted that my PMR symptoms started shortly after a Moderna booster. Previous AZ, AZ, Pfizer vaccines were fine. Has anyone received any likely confirmation, particularly from a Rheumatologist that their Covid vaccine may have triggered PMR? If so, what advice have

Post Covid dosage
Hi I’ve finally tested negative for Covid after a fortnight. Phew! Still a slight cough and fatigue. I initially increased dosage from 6.5mg to 12 then 10 for the last few days. Shall I take 8mg for a couple of days, then 7mg then go back to 6.5mg? Not sure the best course of action for the jolly adrenals

Covid finally caught up with me
There has been a supposed “chest infection” doing the rounds in this place for the last couple of weeks. Yesterday both my husband and I felt unwell with chesty coughs, hot sweats, aches joint and pounding headaches. During the middle of the night I said to my hubby that we needed to do a Covid test

No I can't, Yes I can
So today I decided to do 8K around our local beauty spot. I have been struggling since having COVID in July 2022 and had needed to go back to basics by redoing C25K which I completed in the first week of January. Since then I have been slowly building back up to 10K and as I said completed a 8K run

Hi All - Gynecomastia
Hi everyone, so a bit of background from me. 40 year old male, always been a social drinker until covid hit then I started drinking a bit more. Just before covid in 2019 I went to the docs as I generally felt rubbish, tired and some abdominal pain and had full blood panels inc LFTs and all was clear.

B12 INJECTIONS not on my prescription
Hello, hope everyone is feeling OK, or not too bad. I have been self injecting since Covid and still doing that. Buying my B12 injections and the kit. I need it about every 8 weeks, I can't go three months. I had my prescription through today with other items and notice that my B12 injections have

Hello good peeps 😊 I hope someone can help me we all hate adding another medication for fear of aggravation. I have suffered 2 bouts of Covid this year ( yes already ) Hopefully this means I won’t get it again on trip to UK I’m about 10 days . Looks like COVID has left me with high blood pressure

Covid and AV treatment for clinically vulnerable
I succumbed to Covid 8 days ago. The day after the evening had positive LFT, I phoned 119 as directed on NHS inform. I ordered the PCR tests and then phoned my health board Covid line. The clinician prescribed Paxlovid to be started straight away, they were available at my pharmacy the same day.

Bloody Covid
After 6 vacinations I now have covid again! Got it this time last year. Couldn't have come at a worse time just now. My 92 year old Mum was admitted to hospital with jaunice and a blockage in bile duct, unfortunately this was terminal pancreatic cancer. Now unable to visit her neither is my brother

How to get Covid antiviral?
I may have Covid, I’ll know tomorrow when I do another lateral flow test. As it’s the weekend it has been very difficult to get info from 111 and 119. A doctor called me back and said I have to call the surgery or 111 tomorrow if I’m positive and they contact the hospital and the hospital send the antiviral

Can Covid affect a successful ablation
I had an ablation in October which has been successful and I've been in SR since then. Last Tuesday I went down with covid, I'm really ill with it and have been confined to bed with total exhaustion and lots of other symptoms. I'm now worried that because I feel so debilitated I could go into AF again

So I read somewhere after googling can cancer be detected on regular CMP panel because I had a CMP panel in October 2021 (normal) and then X-rays in January 2022 (also normal). I had a chest X-ray, lumbar spine X-ray because I fell in my house and feared a broken bone. All clear. Neither blood work or

Covid finally got me.
After three years of not getting Covid, it finally happened. My symptoms have been mild so far (low grade fever and feeling warm) and I just picked up some Paxlovid that I will be taking for the next 5 days. I was just 5 days short of finishing my Venetoclax and Obinituzamab treatment, but I am done
