Thank you for all ur help that I posted about 2 weeks ago.
I had my phone consultation yesterday and told him a few truths that I had to go on forums to know how to take my medication even thou been on them for over 20 years!! His reaction was that I should read the leaflets in the packets.
Also that high reading I had in August 2020 he has never seen that sort of reading before and probably was a lab error.
Anyway my tablets have been reduced from 175mg to 150mg and I'm taking them at night time 3 hours after food and not with tea!!
Also now covid felt rough yesterday but showed negative but today a slight line.
Will covid effect my readings !!
Thank you

Any acute infection will affect thyroid test results. If you are going to test you should wait a few weeks after the infection has cleared.
By the way, it's always better when speaking to a medical professional to say that you've been in touch with Thyroid UK which is a thyroid charity recommended by the NHS for information on thyroid disorders. Mentioning the internet and forums is like a red rag to a bull with many doctors!
