Unusual clotting & chronic pain
Hi.... Iv recently had irregular and abnormal bleeding. I am on contraception and don’t usually get periods at all. But it’s the first time Iv used it after a 12 month break. After 4 weeks of spotting and random heavy bleeds I had chronic pain and a heavy pressure and eventually passed what looked

Private endo specialist?
I’ve been getting on and off pelvic pain for around 2.5 years, I never had any problems however I feel as if my
contraceptive
implant
may be playing a role within this as I never had any issues before I had it. I am getting it removed soon to see if I notice a change.

Blood thinners and herbal tablets
Hi just looking for some advice-hope everyone is okay. I have suspected endo, currently on blood thinners for a blood clot I got caused by the pill which I was given to help endo symptoms. I used to take a herbal tablet called agnus castus last year to help with anxiety and I think it may work for

Is this normal? Please help!
Hey I’m on the combined pill (rigevidon) and I was just wondering if they can stop your period? I’ve only been on it for a few months and I’ve had 3 periods and my recent on there was little to no bleeding. Is this normal? Thank you

Liquid levothyroxine.
I'm supposed to change my medication from T3 0nly to combination T4 with T3. I picked up my prescription from the hospital last Wed and Endo has prescribed 5ml daily of liquid Levo(50 mcg) + 5mcg Lio x 3 daily. Went to pharmacy and had a long conversation with them about not switching brands and need

Staying on low dose of Pramipexole
I wrote on here a few weeks ago, about wanting to reduce my Pramipexole, then getting no sleep because my uninformed doctor thought I could get down to the very minimum in just 9 days. So just to update on all of this, I have decided to stay on 0.18mg (1 tablet) per night for the foreseeable future.

Possible endometriosis
Hi, I attended a gynaecologist consultation yesterday after bleeding for 6 weeks and in constant cramps, waking me up at night. They basically said to try a different pill. After I insisted for the internal ultrasound she said I have possible endometriosis but was trying to put me off having the diagnostic

Bad periods after laparoscopy?
Hi everyone, I was on birth control for a few months, stopped in June 2020 and found that my periods had actually got better when I came off and was increasingly becoming better. My symptoms in general were better. Infact, one of them was completely pain free. After my laparoscopy on 21st september

Contraceptive pill
Hello, Random question but does taking the pill for a number of years stop you loosing your eggs, therefore you would have more if you were on the pill longer? I was on the pill for my acne but stopped it but wishing I hadn’t if it keeps me with more eggs.

Hanging in there!
Thanks for your advice - however it would not be a wise move to stop any medication and go alternative, when you have good reasons for being on main stream meds. Alternative meds such as St Johns Wort is very effective after a few mths use - for depression however it does interact poorly with many meds

Questions to ask before seeing a GP
Hi all, I posted earlier in the summer. I can't find the post but in short - high TGaB antibodies, in range TPO - results at the time of posting last time (June) were from medichecks: TSH 2.66 (.27-4.2) FT3 3.8 (3.1- 6.8) FT4 12.9 (12-22) I did these tests on the basis of a £400 consultation with

Panic Attacks In my Sleep
I've been waking up every single morning terrified, without fail, at either 3am or 4am. I don't have nightmares and I live in a quiet area. I thought maybe my change of diet is affecting me or maybe too much caffeine. Then I found out I'm actually having panic attacks in my sleep. Causes are stress from

How to end a flare up?
Hello everyone. I'm not sure if I have IBS, it hasn't been a confirmed diagnosis. Mainly because it was quite bad at one point. Back in 2019 it started with sudden diarrhea which increasingly got worse and became an on and off thing, cramping, spasms, constantly feeling like somethings being twisted

absolutely losing my mind in Perimenopause
Hello all.. I suffer with horrific panic attacks due to perimenopause. To put in simple terms, I have an invisible trigger for my panic attacks; my hormone spikes and drops. I can be sitting just fine and BAM, shaking, gasping awfulness. GYN put me on birth control and its helped slightly.. took them

Sensitive post-natural pregnancy after ivf baby
Hi, I haven't posted for a while but this forum was a great support for me when we were struggling to conceive and whilst we went through the ivf process. I hope this story doesn't offend but I wanted to give some positivity of the view of a natural pregnancy after ivf. It took 3 years and many tests

Night Terrors with the Marina Coil
I’ve had the Marina coil fitted 6 years ago and was a traumatic time with cramps.. I felt like I was giving birth again and was consistent for 4-5months, but then after a while it was completely fine and I had no periods. I had it removed and then had a year out using no contraception. I have since decided

25 year Endometriosis sufferer
Evening all, I have had endometriosis for quite a number of years, have had numerous laparoscopies and been on a few contraceptive pills. my endo completely blocked both fallopian tubes making it impossible to have children without IVF intervention. 4 cycles later I had twin boys delivered by C-section

Pain on the pill?
Hi all, for those of you on the pill without a break for a period, do you still get symptoms and if so, does it have any pattern? I'm now taking the pill back to back to see if it helps my symptoms but all it seems to have done is take away any form of a pattern. Its easily just as bad but now i dont
