So I am on the combined pill and I’ve never missed a pill. Maybe once taken it 4 hours late but never missed it. I had my withdrawal bleeding last month which was the last time I had sex but someone told me even after having your withdrawal bleeding you can still be pregnant but I’ve never missed my

HELP!!! (Slightly long post but advice needed!)
Hope everyone is ok. I have been battling extreme period pain for as long as I have had a period, so 13 years now (I am 24 now and started my periods at 11), I have had every contraception you can think of, ultrasounds and even a diagnostic lap and every test the doctors have done has come back with

How to get the pill during COVID times
A few months ago I started a pill which didn’t work out for me so I made an appointment and got a new pill. The new pill has been good and I want to stick with it so I rang the docs but they wouldn’t make me an appointment they just said I should go to the pharmacy and get my blood pressure taken and

Hi I have been experiencing asthma symptoms the past week when my asthma is normally well controlled. My doctor took me off the combined contraceptive pill a couple of weeks ago as it was giving me hormonal headaches and has now put me on the mini pill which has only one hormone? Diarrhoea, high ft3 low ft4.
Hey everyone. I have been having a bit of a tough time recently. Been doing good on Armour, then my labs got lopsided (ft4 dropped from 80 to 24%, ft3 dropped from 110 to 80%). Feeling hypo, fatigue, dry skin, apathy, very cold, brain fog, couldn't remember names (I'm 36). Ft3 = 80% range* Ft4 = 24%

Contraceptive injection to reduce symptoms, advice please!
Hi, I’ve had my first consultation with my gynaecologist and she has put me on the waiting list for a laparoscopy. She has said it’s a long wait, which is understandable given everything that’s going on at the moment and the pressure on the NHS. She has recommended that I have the injection, whilst on

Questions about Fibroids
I recently had an ultrasound followed by an MRI and found out I have a large fibroid (10cm x 8cm!!) behind my uterus. I had the ultrasound to investigate why my periods have stopped... I'm 25 (no children) and stopped the contraceptive injections back in February 2019. 2 years later and still nothing

Endometriosis and Pregnancy
A couple of months ago, after 10 years of asking for help for crippling period pain and a whole host of other symptoms, I finally had a doctor take me seriously and was told that she most definitely believes I have endometriosis and referred me to a gynaecologist to have surgery. The Pill
Hi, I am waiting on a referral for a hopeful diagnosis of Endo after years of being prescribed the pill. Has anyone as the conditions worsen found they have had breakthrough bleeding whilst on the contraceptive pill?

Hello! After years of severe chronic pain during my period, I finally went to the GP 4 months ago. They referred me for an transvaginal internal ultrasound at Guys and St Thomas’ and found a number of cysts (largest 5cm), that my ovaries aren’t moving so they think are stuck to uterus lining and when

Best contraceptive with Hashimoto's/hypothyroidism?
I've only ever taken Cerazette and microgynon. Both seemed to cause mood issues like anger, volatility and depression, but I only took them at times in my life where I was hypothyroid but undiagnosed or undermedicated and had mood issues anyway. I recently thought it might be worth getting the copper

I'm new here
Hi everyone, just looking for some advice, about 6 months ago i was referred by my doctors for an ultrasound scan with suspected endometriosis. I'm still waiting but finally got a date! I have also been referred to see a gynaecologist but told there is a very long wait! Would it be worth going private

Coil fitting at the end of lap
Long story short the coil is my last resort as I can’t seem to have any of the other forms of contraception without getting headaches so I had my lap in august which was my third one 😢 and was told to give the coil six months to settle. I had my first period as normal then my second but then I bled

Period pains whilst on contraception (suffering from Amenorrhea)
Hi, I'm new to posting and have been diagnosed with PCOS for 5 years. I have amenorrhea and cysts on both ovaries :( I've been on the combined pill under the care of Gynae and that went "well" as I had a withdrawal bleed etc but had issues with weight-control with it so I'm now trying the contraceptive
