I had hysteroscopy done 2 weeks ago and doctor found 2-3 micropolyps in my uterus. He wasn't that much concerned about them as small polyps can go away on their own but because of my history of 3 chemicals in a row he decided to remove them just to be on the safe side. Doctor took a biopsy from my uterine lining and along with the micropolyps he sent them for histology testing. Results came back normal: no infection, benign and no inflammation. Since day 1 of my hysteroscopy I was spotting which is quite normal but now (2 weeks later) that spotting become a red fresh blood and is more than just spotting. We are planning to have our transfer next month and I am worried that it will spoil my whole cycle. I am on birth control pills at the moment (down regulating). I called my clinic in Spain and I told them about my concern and they recommend me to take 2 birth control pills per day instead of 1 for the bleed to stop but I am still worried if something is wrong and I started to bleed because of Hysteroscopy complication? I can call the clinic in London were I had the hysteroscopy done but I am afraid they will prescribe medications that I cannot take before transfer. I am in a big dilemma now, I know that biopsy from my lining can trigger my cycle. Last time when I had biopsy done my period arrived 2 days later. What should I do? How long is normal to have spotting after hysteroscopy? Did anyone had complications after the procedure? Did you go ahead with the transfer?
Thank you for taking the time to read my post 💝🤗

The same thing happened to me after Hysteroscopy. The only way I could get the bleeding to stop was to come off the pill and have a period. I tried exactly what you suggested in terms of two pills, but it didn’t really make a difference. I still continued to bleed.
Do you have long before you need your period before getting into your next cycle? I don’t think the bleeding will impact your cycle even if you just let it continue until you’re ready to come off the pill.
Excited to hear your going to Spain (my embryos are out there too). Have they opened borders again?
Thank you for your reply, means a lot as I am pretty scared 🤗. We decided to travel by car as I have no other option and waiting is killing me slowly. We will do the COVID tests and “sworn”paperwork for France and voila. By air is IMPOSSIBLE. I spoke with my clinic this week and they told me that on Monday a patient from UK went to the airport to fly to Spain for transfer and they didn’t let her fly. My clinic decided to call the Embassy to ask for permission and they completely refused to let her board. I would suggest to everyone to not try their luck by air or sea. We can only travel by road at the moment. You can come with me by car 😁🤗❤️
Wow I am so glad that you had the opportunity to get the vaccine. I am limiting my luggage as I have only 2 weeks of holiday booked from work and I need to quarantine for 10 days on arrival 😤.
