Bleeding on the POP pill
I took the cerazette desogestrel pill for around a year and never had a bleed or a period. I took a break from it for around 3 weeks and decided to go back on it. I’ve now been back on the pill just over two months and I’m having vaginal bleeding but I don’t know if it’s a period? Why am I now bleeding

Non-Stop Bleeding?
I have posted before and trolled through many posts but can't seem to find anyone in the same position as me. I have suffered from periods that won't stop on their own and only contraceptives will stop them. I am now hoping to conceive so have come off the pill and went back to non stop bleeding. 2 months

Feeling pelvic pain everyday, GP told me looks like endometriosis?
I took the
contraception
pill for 4 years, which helped a lot but I stopped 3 years ago to have a break. My period has been much better since then (some pain, but I could totally handle it) but then during the first lockdown I started again with awful periods, and I once ended up in the hospital.

RLS and progesterone birth control... trigger?
I was doing really well on 10/325 hydrocodone every night plus 1/2 pill of my .25 mg Requip to keep the RLS at bay. But lately, I have had a series of really bad nights (and then DAYS) when I can’t seem to get relief from my regular meds. The only thing I can think of that is different is that I got

High heart rate at night
I have been suffering from night time PVC 's for around five years. I have had every test under the sun incuding angiogrammes and calcium scoring, only to conclude that there is just normal wear and tear on my heart. However recently things have been getting worse and my heart rate ( I wear a wrist

Implant removed over a month ago and still no period?
I had the contraceptive implant fitted when I was 17 and had it in for two and a half years. It was removed last month, on the 3rd Feb. So it has now been over a month. When I had the implant, I had frequent periods, usually every other week for the whole 2.5 years. Since having it removed, I have not

Are you heart palpitations this severe?
Hi, I am a 38 yo female who has been experiencing heart palpitations my entire adult life. I have had Holters, ECGs, and echos, and only PVCs and suspected inappropriate sinus tachycardia have been diagnosed. I have learned to live harmoniously with the occasional flip-flops and tachycardia. However,

I'm feeling so overwhelmed, I don't know what to do now.
Hi, I hope you don't mid me posting this. I'm 23 and have been having some trouble now for over a year and a half and I feel no closer to managing pain or knowing what is wrong. I have been on the pill since I was 13 for horrendous periods that were causing me to miss school. Since then I have been on

Finished combined pill pack early - is this risky?
Hi, I’ve been super busy at work and must have missed the occasional pill from my 21 day pill packet last month (never missed more than 2 pill and I think only happened twice), but 4 days before I was due to finish the pack I started bleeding so I decided to just finished my pack then and allow my 7

New here: Help with interpreting results pls
Hi everyone, I'm new here and I am wondering if anyone could help me interpret my latest results. I had a test done with Thriva earlier this week and GP is unwilling to help me. I saw a private endocrinologist who dismissed my symptoms in October and November, saying that I'm not ill enough to be treated

Heart rate still high after exercise
I recently purchased a heart rate monitor that you wear as a watch and noticed when I exercise and get my heart rate to 110 bpm let’s say after walking up a hill etc, my heart rate is still late 90’s for up to a hour after. Or sometimes it just stays not much lower than my peak heart rate. I get

I know, I should have written this as a response to what BigArnie has posted lately, but since there are so many comments to his post, people most probably would miss to read it. I suffer on AF for maybe 15 years (68 now, male), but because of having very mild symptoms, never went to see a doctor and

Thyroid change since stopping contraceptive pill
Hi everyone. Something interesting has happened to me. Brief background. 7 years ago I started losing a bit of weight and felt hot all the time then developed a swelling in my neck that made swallowing uncomfortable. GP took bloods and my T4 was at the top of the normal range and TSH was less that

Contraception to reduce endo
What
contraception
would you advise to reduce the chance of endo growing back? I can’t have oestrogen as my mum had breast cancer. I’m very susceptible to hormones and find they have my mood quite a lot.
