pillow with built-in HEPA filter for dust mite asthma
Hi all -- Just wanted to share today's project. It's a wacky idea, but who knows, might be useful for someone, as it worked for me. This is to manage dust mite allergy while sleeping (relatively) comfortably. Previously, I was using waterproof camping sacks stuffed with fleece blankets. Inflatable pillows

Being dismissed because I’m on contraceptive pill
Hi everyone, I’m new here! After an eleven year battle with horrendous symptoms, I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2016 and received very little follow-up care. My symptoms continued, and I was put on Rigevidon in January 2019, which has helped. Last year, I had an abnormal smear result and attended a colposcopy

Period after using the pill for first FET?
I have PCOS so my periods are irregular at the best of times (usually appear sometime after 6 weeks). I’m having my first FET this cycle, so they put me on the pill for 21 days and said when I stopped it period would come and we could start the long awaited cycle. It’s day 4 after stopping now and

Help
I'm on the pill, I have to take 2 a day to help treat possible endometriosis. I haven't had a period for 3 months now but I'm in agony everyday and have been having brown discharge and chunks of flesh coming out of me everyday for 8 weeks, I've rung the doctors to ask for help and they tell me it's normal

What to do?
May have triggers Evening all, long time lurker, first time poster. I am having a really down day today and don’t know how to pull myself out of it. I have recently been diagnosed with possible endometriosis and am awaiting a laparoscopy. 3yrs ago I came off the combined pill because it made me suicidal

Plaquenil and possible drug interaction to antibiotics
Hi! Last week I knew something else was off, but it wasn't until Friday, that I knew it was a UTI. Excruciating pain, fever, constant painful trips to the bathroom, etc. and a strip from Amazon showing leucocytes, protein and blood. So Sat. morning went to Express Care. 3 hours later (not so express

Combined pill to help with severe period pain?
Hi all, I'm new here and have been experiencing extreme period pain to the point I took a visit to A&E last month. I have been prescribed mefenamic acid in the past which did work but then last month I suffered the extreme period again. I have read about Endometriosis and have just had a dr's appointment

Shall I still carry on with going back to back with the pill or shall I have a break and a bleed?
So I am in the process of getting healthier etc. with the plan of going for my second frozen transfer in Sept / October. I have endo and adeno and PCOS and have been really struggling with my pain for the last few months. I have had issues with my lining being too thick in the past also and random spotting

Morning after pill/smear test
Just a quick question for peace of mind… I had to take the morning after pill last Saturday (yes I know I should be on
contraception
). I’m 5 months post partum. On Tuesday just passed I got my first ever smear test done.

Crazy PVC when getting up from bed
Does anyone experience PVC mostly upon waking or if you quickly get up from seated position and walk? As soon as I wake up and try to get up my heart goes crazy for about 10 min then is ok. I never had this before I started metoprolol. Switched to calcium channel blocker and was still happening. I’

Bleeding after sex…why ?
For years I always thought I had endometriosis. Two years ago I had a laparoscopy and they found a small spot on my womb but just left it then I was discharged with no further appointments. Over a year ago I started to get a really sore vagina on the inside right and I couldn’t wipe after I had been

Feel so alone
the injection & finally at the age of 17 they gave me the option of the
contraception
implant which at that point I was just desperate for anything to take this awful heavy bleeding away...

Thought it was ectopics
Hi everyone, I had an ablation in March this year for AF and after a couple of AF bouts in the 3 month blanking period it has thankfully not returned. Thing is, 2 months after the procedure I started getting daily ectopics, well I think that’s what it is. The skips and the thumping feeling in the chest

GP isn't interested
I told her I was explicitly concerned about endometriosis and she said they'd only put me on
contraception
I'm on anyway. I feel really deflated. I've waited so long for the call with them to be brushed off. What else can I do?
