Two years ago I had a laparoscopy and they found a small spot on my womb but just left it then I was discharged with no further appointments.
Over a year ago I started to get a really sore vagina on the inside right and I couldn’t wipe after I had been to the toilet and after sex and during sex I bleed a lot.
I always feel like I need to urinate, just the smallest amount feels like lots of pressure.
From ovulation my back aches,constipation.
I don’t think they found all my endo on my laparoscopy and the fact they just left it.
My Gp offered me the pill and because my smear was normal no further tests to look into this bleeding.
Could the endometriosis cause the sore vagina and bleeding?
Can someone tell me what’s going on?

Hi SarahLou, bleeding and/or pain after sex is considered a symptom of endometriosis. If your smear came back normal, they should refer you back to a gynae (try to demand one from an endometriosis specialist clinic). With regards to your laparoscopy, was the spot on your womb confirmed as endometriosis? If so, that gives you even more cause to see an endo specialist. Two years is plenty of time for the disease to evolve.Bleeding after sex is not normal and please don't let them dismiss you with a contraceptive pill prescription.
Hormonal treatment is basically the only way they treat endometriosis patients, so it's up to you if you want to try the pill, but don't give up on having your bleeding investigated.
If your GP is reluctant and does not help, you can report him/her and in the meantime, ask to see another.
