Carvedilol and Urso bowl changes
I’ve been on cavedilol medication since May 2023 and Urso since 2022, up until a few weeks ago I’ve suffered a lot of dioreah which started when at the same time when when the Dr prescribed me ferris sulphate for low iron. I know this has a lot of gastric issue so stopped that a week ago. I still have

My Kardia has arrived.
Good morning - if you are in a similar time zone!My Kardia arrived yesterday morning so of course I took many readings to try it out. I also tried it on my husband to see if it was working properly and it appears to be fine. My own readings however are all over the shop, so I wondered if other people

varices grade 2
My consultant physician did a surveillance Gastroscopy which showed 2 varices grade 2, as I was taking Carvedilol twice daily he has decided no further action is required. Having had a burst varice in the past which put me in hospital for a week. I am confused to why he’s decided not to band them surely

Poem on MS (from artificial intelligence)
I asked ChatGPT to write a poem about MS: Multiple sclerosis, a disease unknown A monster that lurks and leaves people alone It attacks the body and the mind Leaves its victims feeling confined It strikes without warning, no time to prepare Leaves us stranded and without a care It takes away

Bolt this ones for you, binaural beats and Parkinson’s tremor.
In this study, we found an improvement of resting tremor when applying BBS in the gamma frequency band OFF medication. Moreover, the positive effects of CAS underline the general positive potential for improvement of motor function by acoustically supported therapeutic approaches. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

The arrhythmia nurse wants me to reduce my bisoprolol dose after my cardioversion - fear of early relapse.
I had a 2nd successful cardioversion 5 days ago, and the arrhythmia nurse told me to reduce my dose of bisoprolol immediately from 7.5mg to 5mg as my heart rate was around 50bpm. However, unless I maintain NSR for 6 weeks after the cardioversion, they won't offer another one, so I'm reluctant to reduce

Long term Steroids.
Many thanks for all your replies to my post.As I stated before, I am due to see my new Rheumatoid Consultant next week, so I'm very hopeful that she will help me on my journey and give me a suitable Rheumy drug that will suit me. I can then hopefully, slowly come off the Predisolone.
