Illogical advice from GP
Her conclusion is that I am experiencing an ME flare-up as a result of mild
concussion
from a freak blow to the head last November, which also sent my pulsatile tinnitus into orbit. I asked her for her definition of ME, which she could not answer.

Is my brain just shutting off for a break or am I having seizures?
I take 10mg dose of Amitriptyline after diagnosing me with post-
concussion
syndrome along with co-codamol and diclofenac for pain. I get very dizzy on standing and the more tired I am the worse that is, I find too much noise and visual stimulation exhausts me most.

Hello world...
She said that it had probably been made worse by being "post
concussion
". Up until then (a week ago) I had never heard that term used in relation to what I was experiencing. At the time of my injury, I'd not even suspected that I might have had
concussion
because I'd felt pretty much normal.Â

Writing through Pain
In addition, I had a serious brain injury several years ago and a recent
concussion
late last year, making life more difficult. It is hard to organize around myself, the house, paperwork. And yet I can write with no difficulty.

Our battle with PSP
She has progressed to falling frequently; 2 broken noses and a
concussion
, multiple bumps and bruises, shoveling food and choking. She walks with a walker, but will impulsively leave it behind and then falls. We don't have a local neurologist that is familiar with PSP.

I saw my neurologist today, and was diagnosed, it adds up & makes sense!
I have Post-
Concussion
Syndrome, benign-paroxysmal-positional-vertigo, Vestibular Migraines .... This can cause anxiety, which makes sense because after the car accident my anxiety/panic was awful!

Concussion and ear pain
I had a chair thrown at the back of my head at work on Friday and I went to A and E and it turns out its
concussion
and a neck injury. Been getting slight shooting pains in the opposite side of my head and when I'm on the phone or someone talking too loud it hurts my ear. Still feeling nauseous.

Worst Night Terror Ever
I remember quite well most of the details of the assault when I got a
concussion
and broken ear drum my senior year. I didn't remember exactly how the
concussion
came. Yesterday it came back to me. Last night I was dreaming of being physically assaulted from behind (like most of the attacks.

Pulsatile tinnitus - important info
After a recent blow to the head (accidental) which caused mild
concussion
, my (pulsatile) tinnitus went into overdrive and although better, is still worse than normal. When I discussed the situation with my GP she was alarmed that I had never had investigations.

concussion

TBI
It is a year since my accident and suffered a TBI with brain bleed, post
concussion
syndrom, tremor still extremely bad, also memory problems. The good news is that I am feeling positive and much better. Last year was such a difficult time so I am looking forward to a New Year and a healthier time.

had the lovely privilege of meeting hussainboltz today at bolton parkrun :)
running at the back because I can motivate people to do something they thought impossible e.g. running up half the hill, or running all the way down the down hill part etc, I managed to say bye to hussain at the end, I'm sure he was freezing because I wasn't that quick but recovering from another
