My fear was “what if its a
concussion
and I die”. Now the hammer that fell on me was a small one that weighed maybe 2-3 pounds thats used for small nails. Also, it only fell a few steps. I also dont have any extreme symptoms, i mean my head is a little sore where it hit obviously.

Pulsatile Tinnitus from concussion
Since then I have had post
concussion
syndrome diagnosed and while I've been dealing with the fatigue that caused I've not been paying much attention to the worsening noise of a pulse that I have.

Bernard: .Oh, because of
concussion
? Sylvia: Exactly. Bernard: Where is she now? Sylvia: Well, I was sticking a twig into a termite mound for just a few moments, turned round, and the whole troupe had gone. Execpt that is for three older monkeys lying dead. Bernard: Oh Sylvia, I'm sorry.

Two steps forward, five steps back...
I've been suffering from post
concussion
syndrome for nearly two years now. I recently saw a neurologist through my private health cover provided by work.

Going to change the world after she conquers herself!
My husband and I are both add and have had concussions/Post
concussion
syndrome. Food affects her greatly. She seems to have the same type of add as my husband. I am not sure what that is specifically.

Meds and suicidal thoughts
I awoke covered with scratches and bruises and a
concussion
. No idea what had really happened to me. After a social worker visited to explain I would be placed on a 72 hour hold, I promptly dressed and walked out of the hospital.

Pace and ablate
Thankfully I didn't hit anyone and I escaped with a broken nose and
concussion
. My cardiologist has run through the gambit of meds (my current one is Flecainide 30mg and metoprolol 50mg) with all of them failing to control the afib. I also have a failed catheter abation under my belt.

Persuading a TBI family member to stop drinking alcohol
He has assaulted me and my parents on many occasions, resulting in cuts, bruises,
concussion
, pulling out hair etc. He denies there is a connection with him drinking alcohol and his bad behaviour.

Worried
I’ve had
concussion
a few times, but this was worse. I passed out walking, came too in ambulance, covered in blood, and no memory at all, even my name. After a few hours perhaps memory and identity returned. I had some stitches by eye, x-ray and on my way after rest and observations.

Is it safe to go in for surgery following a mild concussion (possible PCS)?
I am trying to get an appointment with my GP before then, however what I have read online points to me having symptoms of a possible post-
concussion
syndrome.. Is it safe for me to be going in for surgery? I plan on telling the anesthetist what's happened.

New here! Anyone faint with bowel movements during period?
On reflection, I probably should have gone to Hospital for a
concussion
assessment, but we didn’t really think about the seriousness of it at the time. Anyway, (Sorry, I’m rambling!) I would just like to know if anyone else has experienced similar symptoms and what did it end up being?
