Ct colonoscopy
Anybody had one? Do you know why I’d need bloods done first? I believe it’s much less invasive than a normal one and doesn’t require sedation.

Hello - I’m new and have questions.
Hi Everyone, I’m new here and very grateful for this group and information. I joined because after doing some research - I suspect I may possibly have PBC - even though my gastroenterologist suspects AIH (autoimmune hepatitis) instead. I would greatly appreciate your insights. I am a 65 year old female

All in the head……..

Does anyone face this problem please? My psa is undetectable <.05 and my CEA keeps going up, now, it’s 9.7. I did a colonoscopy 8 months ago when it was 8.7 and nothing found and dr. Told me to come back in 3 years. Should I see a hematologist about it, one specializes in blood cancer? Thanks for your

New here
Hi. I’m new here. I really don’t know how to manage my anxiety and depression. I’m super hypochondriac. There is always something that makes me anxious. I’m 39 and for the past 20 years I constantly think that I have cancer. My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer 5 months ago. Thank God there

I’m sorry for such an icky question but IBS sufferers are the only ones who understand lol! I’ve had IBS for 23 years. It’s gotten much worse the last 4/5 years. In the summer of 2019 I had an ultra sound scan, a ct scan and a colonoscopy and gastroscope. Nothing was found and I was told yep it’s ‘just

Grastrogafin horror stories
I just had my first AND last experience with an evil prep called grastrografin. For a CT. virtual colonoscopy last Friday. In all my life, I admit that even the first sip of this in water, made me almost throw up. Not only that, I cut my doses down by a quarter, and mixed in some barley water, for

Colonoscopy
My Gastroenterologist wants me to have a colonoscopy, he says he can check liver, etc at the same time. Has anybody any idea what this procedure is called? He gave it a name but as usual I was flustered and forgot.

Clear Laparoscopy
Hi All, Hope you don’t mind me asking so many questions in one post but here I go 🙏🏻 I had my first laparoscopy on the NHS last Thursday (exactly a week ago at the time of writing this) and it found no endometriosis at all, my dye test came back clear, normal uterus, normal ovaries so I’m baffled

Colonoscopy in a few days. So scared!
Hi guys I'm a 42 year old female. Just after my son was born 11 years ago I developed excruciating stomach issues on the left side and was doubled in pain. I had to go to a walk in centre. It may be worth mentioning that I suffer from anxiety and PTSD, but I was under a lot of stress at the time. The

Blood in stool?
Apologies for the gross image.. I have had blood in my stool for the last few days, almost a week now. I used to get hemorrhoids but dont seem to have one. No itching, pain or any blood on the toilet paper. I checked in a mirror and have no visible hemorrhoid or fissures externally. Haven't eaten anything
