Mucus and blood

Has anyone had consolation with mucus and then a normal bowel movement about an hour later? I wiped the 2nd time and there was mucus but bowel was soft. I have a colonoscopy in a couple of months and I am diabetic. Started out constipation with white mucus. Then weeks later held poop and when I finally went blood streaks. The second day constipated and dark blood. No visible blood now. My primary did a fit no blood them I went to gastrointestinal dr. there was microscopic blood. I have hemorrhoids. But I am so scared. Never had this stuff before. Right after I had to take the medicine metformin for diabetes
