Abdominal scan
What kind of scan, ultrasound, CT or MRI. Normally they would do an ultrasound to check other internal organ, uterus, ovaries, gallbladder, liver, large and small bowel. Personally I would be reassured that you haven't had your biopsy results back but they can take quite a while. Plus it was good they didn't find anything too concerning during your Colonoscopy visually xxx
I am not too worried about colonoscopy biopsy results if honest .. just abdominal scan I've already had mri and ct scan this to now check the stomach area I think I really need the stomach and small intestine cause this is where I get alot off pain and really bad acid refluxs it will not be my glaudbladder I had yhay removed in 2017 so who knows .. I will just appear hopefully if it clear or if they do need ti do more investigation it bring on the endoscopy quicker . X
Fingers crossed it will give you answers.
Tbh I think it's just ticking another box lol .. they have gave me nitazadine to take the now aswell as ky omprezmasoles and mebervibe and buscopan but it's helping with acid but I am getting some weird stomach craps which is common side effect I noticed on the instructions so but I am not sure it doing much help if you get me as it creating another problem helping one creating another lol
Ask to be tested for BAM too. To gastroscope would definitely be a good thing to have to visualise your oesophagus, stomach and upper small bowel, and endoscopic ultrasound can visualise your bile ducts, having had gallbladder surgery there could be damage to those.
I did have mri scan done right at the gallbladder to see they said it was OK see trying to get my doctor to refer to get procedures it's a night mare cause I've had so many in last few months I only got colonoscopy cause I had a positive stool test .. I am on waiting list for endoscopy but that it's.. i am not sure what else I can do ...
This seems to be a pattern after colonoscopy. I heard/read several incidences lately were doc says can't complete colonoscopy because of 'loopy colon '( which is common) I feel they are just 'ticking boxes' and at the end of it all you find that you are no further on with diagnosis or treatment. This is also from personal experience
I guess this group is mostly from the UK. In the US with our expensive medical coverage we get Colonoscopy result right away and if there are polyps the doctor removes them and sends them for biopsies.
