Tapering off Prednisolone 5mg suppositories
Hello all, I'm wondering if anyone here has used Predsol 5mg suppositories for 3 months? My Gastro said it was ok to use them that long . . . I'm wondering if I need to taper off (for eg, use every second day for a few weeks?) The gastro was not happy with me last visit as my bleeding had come back

Is Bradypnea and Tachypnea normal?
It’s been 16 months since my cryoablation and my FitBit has logged a few incidences of bradypnea and tachypnea. The charts also show pauses like I didn’t take a breath at all overnight. I am still being monitored by an implantable loop monitor but just wondering if anyone is familiar with this and is

Doxazosin
I already have chronic diarrhoea due to microscopic
colitis
. However, the opposite seems to be happening. I have been taking 1mg daily for 9 days now. I still get the usual early morning urgency, but that's about it. Anyone else experienced this with Doxazosin?

Started bleeding with BMs again.
Good afternoon, I was diagnosed with Ulcerative
colitis
at the start of May 2024 via colonoscopy. Start of June , I had a bad flare up where I had lots of blood and diarrhea ( up to 12 times day) worse cramps ever. Finding mesalasine tablets in poo.

Rheumatologist appointment
He suspects a connection to my discontinuing Budesonide for collagonous
colitis
, which is in remission (I think). I had been taking it for 4 years and stopped when I was becoming constipated.

colitis
in people taking tacrolimus especially when there is a history of irritable bowel syndrome. I’m starting to connect this with some of my own occasional G.I. issues.
