Another fun potential Ocrevus adverse event?Watch out for watery diarrhea as a sign of colitis.
I saw an Ocrevus commercial tonight while watching TV, and I noticed that they said Ocrevus can cause
colitis
. I don't remember that being in the patient drug info when I started Ocrevus in 2022. Do any others on Ocrevus remember being told about this, or is it new?

Taking Biotin prior to full Blood count
I always stop B complex when I have Advanced Thyroid (via medichecks) my recent test shows low ferritin and a higher inflammation I wonder if this could be Ulcerative
colitis
as seems to match symptoms so will go with the screening first as this was offered without my initiation. Many thanks

Getting bombarded with ads for RA treatment Honey bee venom cream?.
Amazing too good to be true claims for this but there seems to be a few bits of research on it being anti inflammatory. Anyone tried it ? Still taking the meds....

Saw a consultant who diagnosed micro
colitis
and advised I take two probiotic drinks a day ( am still doing this). Had a colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy, all clear. Still have diarrhoea, does anyone else have this problem or advice on how to deal with it.

Hyperthyroidism symptoms
I also have ulcerative
colitis
and heart disease and fibromyalgia but this sensation is really debilitating. Gp has put me on low dose beta blockers but they make my heart rate too low.

struggling with pain in stomach from Prednisone
The stomach cramps are unbearable and the last time it was this bad I ended up in hospital bleeding and ischemic
colitis
attack. I have a very tortuous inoperable colon and that is why the pain is so bad.

Growing old
Already living with ulcerative
colitis
and TMJ amongst other things that are not too serious at the moment. any small pain or discomfort will get me to start thinking of some scary disease. I really hope this doesn’t become a bigger issue in the future for me, as I am not getting any younger.

Golimumab v. Rituximab? What is others' experience?
After being advised of liver and lung problems attributed to long term use of methotrexate (10mg weekly subcut), it has been suggested I move from a combination of Golimumab/methotrexate to Rituximab alone. From a layman's point of view, apart from a persistent cough) my RA was under perfect control

Overwhelmed, what do I do next? Mutations In my Germline & a Tier 1 ATM Frameshift Alteration
I have a mass reoccurrence on my prostate bed showing since May 2023 which my medical oncologist does not want me to radiate, but I’m compelled to do radiation in spite of
colitis
which is clearing up pretty fast I feel this is why my PSA is rising.

Had results but still confused 🤷🏻♀️
They suggested
colitis
at the time, the CT scan of upper colon area that couldn’t be reached during colonoscopy shows a thickening and narrowing of the sigmoid colon…this could be in relation to inflammatory bowel disease or indeed due to my history of endometriosis.

Is it safe to take mesalazine/octasa long term?
Hi everyone, I'm Claire and was diagnosed with mild/moderative ulcerative
colitis
last year. Apart from an initial flare up (followed by diagnostic procedures leading to the diagnosis), my only symptoms have been an uncomfortable/slightly painful feeling in my stomach/upper intestine.
