My Story

Colitis
. Look it up. Horrible. So, in 3 weeks I am going to Portugal and Spain for 2 1/2 weeks. My Prednisone will be down to 5 mg (recently raised due to inflammation markers but tapering down).

How long to diagnosis?
It took 10 weeks from first symptoms to diagnosis and treatment of microscopic
colitis
via a colonoscopy. The Budesonide has been 100% successful although I understand that symptoms may recur.

Relationship OCD Bothering me for Years
Almost three years ago, literally a day before the pandemic began, my daughter was diagnosed with ulcerative
colitis
. This in combination with the pandemic was devastating. Fortunately, she has been doing well the last year.

I was never officially diagnosed with PA but in the last year have been diagnosed with UC ( Ulcerative
colitis
). I have moved Drs ( Sept 21) and they challenge me every time I go to move to 12 weekly. I moved it out to 8 but am feeling really tired and starting to get mouth ulcers again.

Exhausted and burnt out with no support
I have endometriosis, PCOS, nerve damage and issues with my spine as well as with my bowel due to a resection, IBS and lymphocytic
colitis
. I have had 5 surgeries and need another one as my endo causes extreme constant pain. I am exhausted, and my own mental health is taking a battering.

IBD. Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic inflammatory disease of the gastrointestinal tract and is divided into Crohn's disease and Ulcerative
Colitis
. Not to be confused with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). A different illness altogether.

Where do I stand now with anti virals?
Hello to you all I have chosen to stop taking Adalimumab because I don’t think it’s doing anything and it has triggered a patch of vitiligo which i want to try and avoid spreading. This means I am now taking methotrexate 20mg subcut and 6mg pred. I was wondering Do I still qualify for anti virals?

Itchy red & blotchy palms + wrists with rash that comes and goes. + Thyroid Results.
I think I might have Hashimoto's thyroiditis because I already have ulcerative
colitis
which is an autoimmune disease. Any help would be appreciated, can't get hold of doctor.
