Need support regarding first laparoscopy
Hello! It is my first time on this site but I would really appreciate some advice and information about personal experiences from a laparscopy. I am only 16 and have been told that I'm the youngest patient the laparscopy team will ever have operated on... yikes! I have had an eventful three year and

Can it be CPRS?
Hi all - I'm Dawn and this is my first post on here. I broke both my ankles back in August 16 - left one badly dislocated and bimalleolar fracture, plus "crumbled" metatarsals, right one non-displaced talus fractures on both sides of the ankle plus soft tissue damage. Left one was operated on, so multiple

No confirmation but concerned over medications given
Hello and hope you are all dealing with the pain. A quick question really. My doctor has given me Duloxetine on top of me already taking Citalopram, co codamol and Gabapentin. Does anyone else have this combination and how do you feel? I haven't taken the Duloxetine yet as I am concerned

Struggling to cope with the pain..
I got diagnosed for endo on 14th December...I have a laparoscopy, and they bits removed, also had the coil fitted. I had two weeks of pain free, was staring to get my life back and was planning to go back to work. The last few weeks Iv had all of my symptoms back again, pain in my stomach, lower back

High heart rate whilst ill
Hi all, So I'm currently suffering with a slight cold I think or an infection, which is obviously causing me a lot of distress in itself. Just taken my pulse and it's 101 so a little on the high side. Is heart rate elevated when ill? Does anyone else get this at all? Also I've taken two co-codamol (8mg

Medication advice
I have chronic FM and am taking Co-Codamol and Amitryptiline but often they don't give me much relief especially in cold, wet weather. I keep coming up against a brick wall because he will not refer me to a pain clinic because he doesn't think There is is anything more effective than what I already take

Doctors
Hi and I hope everyone is as good as can be. Because of the stress of applying for PIP as they are stopping my DLA, I had to go to doctors with severe migraines and sleeping problems (more than usual) on 12.01.17. As well as a lot of different medications I am on, I take co-codamol for pain. I know this

Hi, I'm very new to this, so sorry if I ramble. I'm currently in the process of finding out if I have endometriosis. My mother, grandmother and great grandmother (we assume from symptoms) all had it, and two have had their wombs removed (after having children - which I currently do not have). I am

IBS HELP
Hi all, I really need some help at the moment. I have been diagnosed with IBS and an inflammed bladder. I went to the doctor the other day as i thought i had a water infection. She thinks that all my pain is coming from my bowel and may have been pressing on my bladder. I'm quite sick at the moment

Call from GP and some clues
I've finally had a telephone call from my current GP - fortunately the one I know best. The call came just as I was thinking I might get out of bed, and it took some frantic fumbling to do the slide across on my iphone to be able to answer, but fortunately I've had a few days to think about what I needed

Any meds that don't cause weight gain?
Hi all, hope your Sunday has started well. I have tried gabapentin, amitriptyline and pregabalin, but all made me so hungry I put on considerable amounts of weight. Co-Codamol doesn't do that, but can be addictive, so not allowed to take it every day. I heard that in the USA some people use meds like

Grade 3 oesophagitis after endoscopy - new here
Hi, this is the first time I have posted on this forum. I have a diagnosis of undifferentiated auto immune disease with a wide range of symptoms and I get a lot of support on the Health Unlocked Lupus forum. I have had GI problems for many years, hiatus hernia (for over 30 years!!) and acid reflux treated

newby looking for information
I had an x ray last year and was told I have arthritis in my hip that is not bad enough for a replacement. I accepted this I knew it wasn't that bad. That was it no other information was forthcoming. I don't even know the what type I have. This past month it has become very painful I can't see a GP

Neck Pain
I have previously been an observer of this site so this is my first post. I was diagnosed with AF in February 2016 and after a roller-coaster experience with Bisoprolol that did not agree with me at all, I am now just prescribed Warfarin. Thankfully I manage to stay within INR range reasonably well at

I've suffered sciatic pain for years prior to my op. Surgeon operated on L4/L5 at the end of September 2016 after I couldn't carry on with my working life day to day. I had about one day after my op pain free. Then on the second day as soon as the physio lady showed me how to do the stairs the pain
