Not sure if I actually have RA
Hi, I have been reading all of your posts and learning a lot, but I'm not sure if I have RA yet. I'm 54, with lifelong severe asthma and I have been having joint problems for quite some time, getting worse over the past year. I've been unable to walk properly since early May - very lame and slow.

Abdominal Pain and Sickle Cell crisis.
I recently had an episode of abdominal pain shortly after taking Co-codamol for pain relief . Over night I developed abdominal pain which led to nausea and vomiting. I later checked myself into A&E and was made to understand this could be an SCD crisis. I had taken co-codamol in the past with no problems

It's always a battle
I have been in extreme pain for 7 months in arms and legs and have great difficulty doing anything especially walking. Other symptoms have been appearing over several years. In July I asked for my vitamin B12 to be tested and it came back as 140 ng/L (*180-1000). However not one of the several GP's I

Unknown diagnosis
I have been suffering with chronic pain, which has been getting worse, for the last 5 years. It seemed to start from a road traffic accident but I have not been able to confirm that medically. The pain started in my neck, shoulders and back of the head (where I get crushing headaches) and over time I

Day 25 after surgery ( laparoscopy and hysterescopy
Hi there, Thanks for everyone who has messaged and replied to me. I had a laparoscopy and hysterescopy three and half weeks ago. I am feeling so low today. I went to hospital on Saturday and put on a drip. (I was so dizzy and couldn't hold any food for a few days). I got an X-ray done and was told

IVF with severe daily endo/adeno pain?
I just wondered if any of you ladies had been through IVF, with pretty severe daily pain (probably due to endo, adeno and endometriomas!) I'm 4 months out of surgery to remove endometriosis... Which I thought was going to be good excision, and bring some pain relief, but the surgeon may not have been

Spreading dosage of Preds over 24 hours for GCA flare Symptoms?
Diagnoses with PMR/ GCA (not confirmed by TAB) in May. Had a recent GCA flare much worse than the original symptoms, when trying to reduce from 20mg Preds to 17.5mg. Requested a referral to rheumatology, due to flare, but still waiting 2 weeks later! Seen an optician, who has confirmed no serious eye
