Knee Pain
Since I was about 10 I have had terrible knee pains in both knees because of this I have never been able to take part in big sports like footbal and had to quit rugby after about 3 weeks as it was making my knees unbearable to live with. This died down for a while meaning I only sometimes had to take

Ambulance Journey Number 3!
I'm still in the process of being diagnosed with Endo, but the pain is so unbearable at times it calls for 999 as I literally cannot bare it, and I'm pretty thick skinned when it comes to my gynae pain!! So a few weeks ago (23rd April) I was taken into hospital by ambulance due to uncontrollable pain

Laparoscopy pain?
Hi All, I have just discovered this site and reading all your posts, helps me feel 'normal'. I was diagnosed with endo on the 18th October, the day after my mum died. I didn't even know I had it. I just thought painful periods were part of being a girl/woman. My first laparoscopy was in Feb 2013

Sulphasalazine Treatment
Hello, I've been reading all of your posts for the last few months and find them a supportive way to start each day. I had Juvenile Arthritis that went into remission at 13. About 12 months ago,at age 34, I began to get hip pain that was generally 'ached' but would develop to crying point if I'd been

Itching face and neck
I have been suffering with itching on my face and neck on and off for a good few months have been trying to monitor what I eat, anything that I do and when it happens. I am being tested for lupus because the main itchy rash is across my nose and cheeks but recently along my hair line and on my forehead

Fed up
Been to the doctors earlier as I'm on my first period since my lap but the pain is worse than its ever been in 5 years. Couldn't sleep last night cos my stomach felt like it was twisting itself and paracetamol, ibuprofen and mefanemic acid don't work at all. I've had to tell my boss I can't work tomorrow

OA Knees
After 3 years of PMR, I was diagnosed with OA( x-ray and MRI) in my right knee in December. The pain was awful but a cortisone shot made me feel vaguely human again, albeit with limited mobility still. That shot is now wearing off and , surprise surprise, my other knee is now playing up and very painful

Free Prescriptions for Asthmatics?
Am I the only one who is uncertain as to why asthma isn't an exclusion criterion for prescription charge payment? I guess I shouldn't be complaining just yet as I still fit neatly in the middle of the bracket that says, '16, 17 or 18 and in full-time education', so I don't pay anyway. But when I get
