Ropinirole not working
Hello everyone, I've been taking Ropinirole 0.25mg for 2 weeks for my rls. I have gradually increased my dose (now at 0.25mg x 3 per night). I haven't noticed any difference as yet and I have resorted (every 3 nights or so) to taking 2 x co-codamol 15/500mg at about 2 am as I am just desperate for sleep

Hi everyone As you know I've just joined the forum. My fibroscan was 21.8 kpa and my iqr/med 6.1%. I've had various health issues that have meant for the last decade I have been on paracetamol, codeine, ibuprofen, amitriptyline. I couldn't cope with statins although I tried a few. It was around that

Personal Trainer sessions
Hey everybody, My DR advised me that loosing weight and exercise will ''help'' with my fibro but due to my weight I struggle with self-esteem (Size 14/16). I lost a lot of weight previously going from a size 22 to a small size 10, but I've quickly chucked the weight back on which I feel is putting strain

In process of diagnosis, advice please?
Hi there. Am very new to the board but hoping I'm in the right place for a bit of advice. A specialist thinks I have this, but I don't think I have 'widespread pain', as seems to be the way it's described in much of the info I'm reading about symptoms. For a number of years I've been having pain in

Fycocompa and Co-Codamol bad mix?
I have JME and take Fycompa and Lamictal for the epilepsy. Lamictal I have used for many years and I have never been a healthy bunny at the best of times, thus used co-codamol many times with it. I have a serious neuroma on my spine, so am using pain killers all the time. Recently I have found I have

Ropinirole
Hi everyone, I've just been prescribed Ropinirole for my RLS and was wondering what other people's experience of this has been. Up until now I've been taking Co-codamol 15/500mg x 2 at night which has helped but my GP wants me to stop this and start the Ropinirole. I am also hypothyroid for which

remission gca?
Until I was diagnosed, by letter, and still no Endocrine appt, I was on 2mg Pred, and doing well. Along came the Synacthen test, and diagnosis of Addison's disease, and my world fell apart. Felt like I did, 12 years ago, when diagnosed GCA. It has been a rollercoaster ride. The stomach aches have settled

Biopsy
When diagnosed with GCA I had several of the symptoms. Put on 60mgs of pred and all cleared. Since dropping pred dose I keep getting a pain in the eye, at a point in the back of the head and in the side of the neck, sometimes together and sometimes individually. Apart from several flares my GCA symptoms

Circumcision still covers bottom of glans
Hey guys it's been a week now since I got my operation, have an infection but on flucloxacillin for that, been taking co codamol (8/500's) and oral ibuprofen and smoking some weed for the pain, the parts that aren't infected are healing nicely, is it normal for the healed parts to still partially cover

Sciatica pain
Hi - I'm new to this. I have sciatica; lots of pain, pins and needles etc. in my left leg. I'm taking high strength co-codamol and gabapentin. Had a lumbar spine MRI yesterday to see what the cause is (if any). The pain is not stopping me from working or my yoga classes or stretches I've seen online

3 weeks post lap - cramps like contractions
Hi lovelies, I had a treatment lap three weeks ago. Has taken me much longer to get up and about than I planned but definitely turned a corner this week. I know they lasered off a lot of the endo but my GP still doesn't have the details from the surgeon. I am planning to go back to work next week. I
