probably for 10/15 years + pretty much continually and then at various times since. Now of course prescribed with my PMR Pred. As far as I can tell it, nor any of the other medication, has ever had any problematic side effects.

Anyone got any medications that helped? The pain is too much to bear now.
I take
co
-
codamol
amd pregabalin plus an antidepressant and a sleeping pill. The pain recently is so severe. I have been crying some of the day. In hospital they gave me oral morphine and it helped so much but the pain is stopping me getting anything done.

Update-Sciatica 2
Wow!! we have made it to Friday, and I think the drugs are doing their think, thank goodness, still some discomfort and now I don't have to roll onto my stomach in the morning and shuffle out of bed, though seems to be more painful in the mornings and before I go to bed, I have cut down on the Co-Dydramol

codamol
, it eased and didn’t return. No change in diet, haven’t been anywhere to pick anything up.

lidocaine patches
The pain was vicious and not even high strength
co
-
codamol
would take the edge of it. I tried so many things to improve the pain with no success. Then my GP prescribed pain patches. I have always been sceptical of these and also pain relieving creams.

Fibro and menopause symptoms
I'm on amitriptyline, pregabalin and naproxen, with
co
-
codamol
for bad days, but due to Covid GP won't refer me to pain clinic at the moment. Does anyone else suffer from hot flushes (well, just hot ALL the time actually), but also have painful hands and feet because they're actually ice cold ?

cll/ sepsis/check your prescriptions
well its been a while since I was on the site. I just had my first injection for c19 which sent my temp to 38.1. Only lasted a few hours. CLL, for myself thankfully its still stable. They are still trying to work out the connection between Sepsis attacks and cll. In basics I was back in hospital again

Ìm on nothing but vitamin D Anti depressants and
co

codamol
. I am able to stand for now with help and the use of equipment but not walking. Have home help for an hour a day but otherwise feel like I've been forgotten by the medical profession. Of course they'll blame Covid! Any feedback?

Circumcision 2 week update
I was on the highest strength of
co

codamol
for the first 48hrs and naproxen to reduce the swelling. I had gauze around it. I never showered or bathed myself. I only did a hand wash for the first 72hours. On day 3, I took the gauze off (slowly) in the bath, it felt amazing!

Gallbladder removed 5 days ago
Hi all, after many years of pain and fear caused by gallstones, I finally had my gallbladder removed via keyhole surgery over the weekend. It all came to a head in January just gone where I had a severe blockage that caused jaundice, reduced liver function and pancreatitis. This bumped me up the list

Gabapentin/Pregabalin - Who is actually finding this helps their RLS?
There has been a lot of advice on this Forum about A2B Ligands being first line of treatment (?) and I was thinking there must be a lot of people out there who were advised to come off DA's (slowly) and go onto these Ligands. Then I am reading a lot of posts of people whereby these Ligands stop working

I hate my GP - making me feel like a drug addict
I asked her to prescribe me either Tramadol or Codeine as the only thing helping me at the minute is taking shop bought
Co
-
codamol
and Nurofen Plus. I have tried Pramipexole and also now on Gabapentin 900mg.
