Hi, my wife had it some years ago and they operated on both wrists at the same time.

Try the physio it may well work for you as it does others I know, that will save you invasive surgery.

Good luck

Hi. I had it myself, it’s extremely painful. Try wearing a wrist splint overnight - that was the only thing that helped me until I had surgery. Had both hands done at the same time and worked well. You can get the splints at most pharmacies or via Amazon, etc. Painkillers didn’t help much. Please be very careful with cocodamol. While you’re waiting for physio, try the NHS website where you’ll find exercises specifically for carpal tunnel syndrome.

Glad the splint helps. Cocodamol can be addictive, but I assume you’ve been advised about that. Hope you manage to get your surgery soon.

I had it in both of my wrists after having my 2nd baby. Mine was really bad, so the GP referred me straight for surgery. I’d definitely recommend it if you can get a referral in the current lockdown
